Fondé en 1960 par les frères Peppino et Federico Corneli, le restaurant perpétue toujours les mêmes recettes authentiques transmises de génération en génération. Entreprise familiale, il est aujourd’hui entre les mains de la nouvelle génération : Nicola, Pina, Alex Corneli et le chef Joe Nicodemo. Les pâtes maison, façonnées à la main par la nonna Donna, demeurent le cœur et l’âme de notre cuisine. Et bien sûr, notre pizza cuite au four importé d’Italie offre ce goût unique et traditionnel qui fait notre réputation.

Une belle découverte pour nous. Montréalais d'origine, le nom Corneli nous était déjà familier. Très belle variété de pizza & les pasta sont excellentes 👌
Average, not refined. My cavatelli Burrata e pancetta felt more like a soup then a pasta plate: soaked in juice! The menu didn't say it was made with smoked pancetta & I hate smoked meat in my pasta. Disappointed!
The food is delicious ! Especially the pizza & pasta ! Good portions ! Love the open space beautiful decor I would just recommend that the music is a little loud a little difficult to have a conversation with your group ! Great staff !
Service is fine,as for everything else not so much.Under cooked calamari,chicken on the dry side with that sauce they drowned on to it.Had pasta,,sauce to much acidity As for salad,don't care for it.Anti pasto was fine along with the grilled sauceges.Overall not going back much better Italian restaurants than this one.Also the damn A.C. wasn't working,freaking hot in there.
Great spot to enjoy a solid pizza & generous portion of pasta. The appetizers were also quite good & the place has a lovely decor. The staff is friendly & attentive. I can understand why this place is quite busy.

The restaurant is beautiful, but the service is slow. (& I'm not talking about the new employee who ended up serving us- she was great.) The appetizers were really good, but the portions were small. The main dishes were bigger portions, but everyone at our table agreed their dish was missing flavour - the main dishes ranged from pizza, meat, & pasta. Not the best overall, but would come back to try it again & see if it was just an off night.
It was our first time at this restaurant & we had high expectations. We heard so many good things about this place. But we were disappointed overall. Don't get me wrong: The ambience is fantastic. The restaurant is spacious & well lit & nicely decorated albeit quite noisy. The pasta portions were decent & the pasta was cooked just right & tasty. Their antipasto was a major letdown though. They charge over 20$ for just a few olives, two slices of cantaloupe melon, & a few slices of prosciutto & sopresata. They claim you could share this but it's only really enough for two people max, not for a group. Also, their cocktails were way too strong for our liking. The waitress, despite being friendly, seemed a little bit lost & did not check in often. Service was incredibly slow as well.. It was a busier day when we went so I can kind of understand, but I'd say we waited a good 30 minutes before the waitress came by to take only our drink orders!! I'd give this place another chance. I'd be curious to see what the dinner service is like.

El pan de entrada resultó satisfactorio. La pasta estuvo bien, aunque un poco salada. La porción del pasticho fue mínima y predominantemente salsa; su precio de casi $30 me pareció excesivo en relación con la cantidad servida. Sin embargo, lo que más deslució la experiencia fue la vestimenta del personal de servicio; la indumentaria inapropiada resta elegancia a la decoración y genera una primera impresión negativa al ingresar al restaurante.

I did my birthday celebration with family at Corneli's in Laval on Sunday, & we were all incredibly impressed! The restaurant is beautiful with a great atmosphere, the service is impeccable, & the food is amazing/authentic! We were particularly impressed by the generous food portions for the salad, pasta, & mains! You don't see this very often at most restaurants anymore, so this was a refreshing experience! Very high quality. Alex & his team were also very accommodating & flexible, which was greatly appreciated! My family & I will definitely be back! 100% recommend!

Went for Valentine's Day & ordered from the preset table d'hôte menu. They were out of focaccia which came complimentary so they brought us rolls instead but we had to ask for it. The service was very good & the staff are efficient. The cavatelli as appetizers were excellent! The mains, however, were disappointing. The risotto & the cod were both flavourless & bland. Corneli are known for their pizzas & pasta dishes & we should have stayed with the staples. I have eaten at the Saint Laurent location & always loved it. I think it was most likely the choices we made. I would go back but keep to their specialties.
Very nice deco from what was before. Service was great Sadly, the food was absolutely disappointing for all of the members that tried the restaurant. Small portions (pizza paper thin, no crust, calamari bowl the size of a small soup, etc) ... Rarely do I go to an italian restaurant like industria, centro, gatomato & feel hungry after, well I did here. We all agreed that all of the items needed salt. The first time my dad ever put salt on his pasta regardless of the restaurant. We were so excited to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood but sadly we won't be coming back
