Hidden gem in the Village! We've been to Keela countless times since it first opened (most often on Tuesdays for the oysters - guilty!) & we have never been disappointed! Food is just great, they always have unique dishes not on the regular menu - even New Year's Eve was an absolute blast with a big group! The service is attentive & top notch & the whole vibe is conducive to just the greatest evenings. The bread with hummus & tartare are definitely favourites, oh & the shrimps too!
Absolute hidden gem. Perfect for a night out before a show, incredible for bringing parents from out of town.
Every plate is a star, specials are always worth it. The staff are lovely & incredible people & the owners make me keep coming back. Live music sometimes, good vibes always.

Outstanding dinning experience!! Starting with the fabulous unique dishes that were incredibly created by one of Montreal's top chef's Johnny Hamilton. Then the service was top level & all our needs were taken care of with perfect recommendations from Kristin who is one of the owners. The vibe was amazing with live music that made the entire experience wonderful for our family holiday weekend. We have travelled the world as a family & Keela is top of the list & cannot recommend it enough. Go check it out!
A total heart-stealer! The photos on Google do not do this place justice-it's about a thousand times more romantic in person. You walk in, & it's like someone turned on a'romance' filter with just the right amount of candlelight, cozy vibes, great sexy music, & a little bit of magic. Perfect for date night or, honestly, just treating yourself to an ultra-cozy evening. The specials? Amazing! Each dish is like a little surprise that makes you wonder how they thought of it. They're not just good; they're "stop talking, we need to focus on this flavor" good. & the service is as friendly & welcoming as it gets. The staff are pros at making you feel at home while giving you great suggestions. An unforgettable night!
After a long day & flight to Montreal I just needed real food for dinner. I stayed at M Montreal hostel & this restaurant was close so I gave it a shot. Expected nothing. But this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time & I go somewhere all the time. From warm welcome to great service, but the food... Another level... Sous vide chicken is something else... I love the vibe since is not formal, but it is chill & still nice. Top notch!!!
One of the best fillet mignon ever! The sauce was fantastic & those fries 😍 The dessert was also soooo good & I believe it was made in house? The service was also really good & the whole place has such a great vibe! Will definitely come back to Keela when we visit Montreal again!
Good vibe, disappointing food. The piri-piri bread was pretty tasty, & the cocktails were decent, but both our entrees were disappointing. We enjoyed the live music, & the place has a nice "neighborhood bistro" feel. Just wish the food were better.
We found this place haphazardly before a show we were heading to & we couldn't have been more impressed.
We ended up spending more time here than we thought. The decor was serious but the vibe was laid back. The food felt like it was effortlessly put together. The definition of a place that knows exactly what it's about. We got the octopus & flatbread & both were delicious!
I always suggest sitting at the bar as this is where service is best...once again it did not disappoint. The prices weren't overly high either. Overall a memorable experience for what was supposed to be a quick bite. Would definitely go back for a date or with friends.

Great vibe, great food, great staff. Be sure to get the piri piri house bread. Will definitely be back next time we're in town for a show in the village.
great vibe. great staff. short menu, so you know they can focus on making the dishes perfectly. the house bread in the stone oven was SOOO good. Grilled octopus was on-point & the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. we ate so much, we didn't have room for the desserts which looked just as yummy as the main courses. highly recommend!
