It was absolutely delicious. I almost went to the AYCE sushi restaurant next door but decided I'd try Zaytouni instead & I'm so glad that I changed my mind. It smelled amazing when I walked in, & I knew I made the right decision. The person working was so nice & asked if I wanted my sandwich toasted & I said yes & it was perfection. So much flavour, the meat was not dry & seasoned perfectly, it wasn't drowning in garlic sauce & was filled appropriately. I recommended it to atleast 4 people after I left. I also ordered a fattouche salad which was tasty but I preferred the sandwich more. Highly recommend!
I went at around 12:30 so no one was there. Service was fast & the food was incredible. The saj is filled to the brim with meat & the pickles are incredibly fresh. A West Island hidden gem, will definitely be back.
Everything was perfect tasty dishes, clean place, & fast service. Highly recommended.
Staff has hard of hearing. Told them a dozen times, Kids bol! & still got the wrong order! Rice is microwaved! & no potatoes! Customer service is terrible at best & food is meh. Go to basha on sources instead. Reply to their response. I expected a'bol pour enfant' for my kid, not you asking if i want added sides to it without telling me it wasn't included. Say it's extra & let me decide. & the blinking sign'Ouvert' means restaurant is open!
Fast & very friendly service as well as REALLY delicious fresh shawarma i highly recommend you try their crispy shawarma & Fried pita bowl & their beef marinade will hit you this is a very slept on location that deserves more love!
Fantastic! Especially the'custom' sandwich. The chicken isn't dry & is seasoned perfectly, presentation is super, most importantly everything is fresh! Everyone needs to have the Saj sandwich. Go now!
EDIT: get the crispy saj, trust me.
The crispy shawarma is INSANELY good, real good ingredients. Owner is very nice & humble. Left so full, will defs be coming back for more!
Can't believe this place has existed for 30 years & I never knew about it! The best Lebanese fast food I've had outside of Lebanon!
Food is unbelievably Fresh! I've experienced a lot of shawarma places but nothing this good & the variety is an experience in itself. The fresh salad bar is unreal & has options I've never seen elsewhere. ASK ABOUT THE SECRET MENU. I decided on the burger to change things up Quality is top notch & quantity…. Let's just say I'm not thinking about food when I leave. The owner & staff are super friendly & attentive. Great experience & will be back!
