One would not expect good quality & authentic Yunnan-style noodles in the middle of Laval, but here we are. The noodles were delicious, the tables & seating were clean, & service was quick & convenient. Note that by default, ordering requires scanning a QR code with your mobile device. Staff are trilingual (French, Mandarin, English). It's a good place to try out Chinese food & definitely deserves more attention.
Unforgettable experience, the environment is great with their eco friendly & artistically interior design. The food is authentic not white Chinese food. Most recommended: spicy beef & the signature'cross bridge' soup noodle.
The only regret is that it's too far from my home, & you might have to wait for a table during peak hours. If I hadn't happened to pass through Laval, I probably wouldn't have had the courage to make a special trip just to eat rice noodles (the traffic in Montreal is really terrible!).

Hands down for best Yunnan / Chinese restaurant if you want local original Chinese food. The food is awesome & portion is very generous for the reasonable price. Highly recommend!
I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, but this one stands out. The menu items are very unique & delicious, with flavour combinations I've never tasted before.
One of the friendly owners who served us said they don't just make the mediocre Chinese food, they come up with their own unique menu
This place is pretty good. The ingredients appear to be real. & the taste is not toned down for local flavours. Good to see this place here in this dessert of Chinese food.

The flavors are out of this world, delicious from the fresh bite to the last bite. It's tough to find authentic Chinese food here & this reminds of flavors I have when I get to travel & eat in China.
Tried Restaurant Yum & Shine for the first time yesterday & absolutely loved it! The rice noodles were delicious - the broth was rich & flavorful, clearly made from real chicken stock. The cold noodles were also super tasty & refreshing. We also tried a couple of cold appetizers: the chicken liver & the mouthwatering chicken ('kou shui ji') - the mouthwatering chicken was especially outstanding, tender & packed with flavor. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic & satisfying Chinese dishes!

So happy to see there's a new authentic Chinese restaurant in my neighbourhood✨? I was in awe with the interior design of the place & it was sparkly clean. The staff we're so kind & welcoming, we had zero complaint regarding their customer service. Ordering was quick & simple since you have to scan the QR code with your phone, which I prefer. The food came in pretty quickly, we all enjoyed our meal & tea😋🩷 I will surely come back to discover something new again!
Definitely worth a try if you're looking for something authentic with traditional Chinese flavours. The soups were delicious! I had spicy beef noodle soup with extra beef & udons :P My favourite was definitely the long Chinese donuts to go along with my soup! Also... Love the paperless QR code menu ;)

First time eating here & the food was yummy! There are a few authentic chinese dishes (father approved). A downside would be that the service was sloww(Saturday evening). Overall though, we enjoyed our dining experience here! The dishes we ordered (in order of the pictures): -Tendon au boeuf épicé (spicy!!) -Rouleux de printemps au porc frits à la cantonaise -Nouilles de riz froides signature (recommend!) -Nouilles qui traversent le pont -Udon au curry crémeux au boeuf -Grans siu mai au porc
You know a chinese place is authentic & good when all the customers are chinese! The food was amazing & the portions very big. The staff was very welcoming & kind!
Great service with authentic food, very clean & heartwarming atmosphere. As a Chinese international student I guarantee you this is the best rice noodles restaurant around Montréal. Worth a try if you live close by or passing by. Came all the way from downtown Montreal & will definitely come back.
Delicious food with unique flavours in generous portions, served within a quaint & cozy little shop. No hustle & bustle of a typical Chinese restaurant - our family of 5 enjoyed our dinner in amazing peacefulness while being served by the friendly waiters & owners. If you are craving some delicious spicy dishes but looking for something unique, this is the place.
