Very disappointing experience. We ordered an uttapam but were told it would take 20-25 minutes, so we switched to a dosa because it was supposed to be faster-but it still took around 35 minutes. We had to remind the staff three times just to re-fill the water bottle, & even a ready-made takeout container took more than 5 minutes.
I noticed two groups leave without ordering due to the poor management. The food was just okay (2/5) (looked good but not tasty), but the service & management were terrible (1/5). Definitely needs major improvement.
Best Indian food in Montreal! Tried Dal Makhni, paneer tikka masala, masala dosa, all the items were 11 on 10! Service & ambience were great. The whole experience was supe
Everything was delicious! The Dosas were the highlight for us. We will be back!
Fantastic Experience!
I had the plain dosa here, & it was fantastic! It was very close to authentic, which I really appreciated. The sambhar was spot on - perfectly spiced with that subtle hint of sweetness that you find in Chennai sambhar. The coconut chutney was also amazing, complementing everything perfectly.
Neha & Lavania the waitresses, was incredibly professional & attentive, which added to the overall positive experience.
Would I come back? Absolutely! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Amazing food. Really good dosas. The Indo-Chinese food is really really good. Must try.
We also tried the Dahi puri which was equally good. Definitely worth it
I would never recommend this place. We went for lunch today ordered thali & dosa. The masala served with dosa is spoiled & the sambar was more like tamarind soup. Even the Chana curry they served in the thali must be a wk old & was simply microwaved. I heard similar feedback from the other table too. When the feedback was given, the staff said that the chef had checked & he found the food ok. Pl don't go to these place & encourage the pathetic quality the serve
Awesome & tasty food with a great variety of vegetarian options. We tried dosas, starters, & a few curries, & everything was amazing. We were served by Lavania, who was very friendly & gave us some great recommendations.
The only thing I felt was that the dosas had somewhat similar flavors, so if you order one or two from the menu, you probably won't miss out on much by skipping the others.
