Cela fait plusieurs fois que je vais a ce restaurant pour des repas à emporter toujours délicieux , service impeccable & proprio sympathique. Tout repas sont fraîchement préparés sous vos yeux . What a wonderful experience at Restaurant Souvlaki. From the time you walk in & are greeted by the warm & friendly owner Santos & his hard working sidekick Joelle to the last bite of our baklava that we ate later in the day, this was a five star experience all the way. The food was really delicious. We had the chicken souvlaki on a pita, & the tzatziki was very yummy, as was the deliciously fresh & juicy chicken & medley of fresh veggie ingredients inside. The side salad of head lettuce & sliced tomatoes was fresh but was a bit underwhelming & probably could have used some cukes & peppers for added taste, colour & variety, but their homemade Viniagreek Dressing, which they market in the city & online, was really tasty on the salad. The service was quick as well as we had an appointment we had to get to. The prices were more than fair considering what you pay for far inferior fast food & we even were offered a discount on our dessert!! This hidden gem is a must try while you're in Montreal.
