Been talking about going here for years but never got around to it. I regret not going sooner. A bit of nostalgia with the checkered red & white table cloth's & relaxed atmosphere. The food was great, you can't go wrong with a real wood fired oven pizza or calzone. The service was amazing. The only small thing I noticed was the lighting as there was alot of mismatched bulbs, as in ultra bright whites & subdued off whites. Easy fix. Will be back!View more
Restaurant Siciliana had a somewhat authentic Italian feel to it, with a cozy atmosphere. The food had great flavor, & I enjoyed the tortellini soup & chicken parmesan. However, the chicken was so thin that it ended up overcooked & a little hard around the edges.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by some issues. Some of the staff were sitting at tables playing on their phones & just staring around, which made me feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the restaurant was filled with fumes from the brick oven & looked smokey. You could see the black char going up the brick oven & on the ceiling tiles.
Overall, I would not recommend Restaurant Siciliana if you are visiting Montreal.View more
This was our first time here. The place was quiet & relaxed feel to it. We went around 6:20 pm. We ordered their minestrone soup, & it was delicious. We had pepperoni pizza, cooked in a pizza oven. The pizza was excellent.View more
Avoid the pasta with seafood. It didn't taste right, was not al dente & gave me a very bad upset stomach. Also, I was offered parmigiano with it which is heresy :-) ! The baked eggplant were ok. On the positive side, service is good, prices are not too high & the bread is made on the spot in the wood fired oven. Bottom line: not authentic Italian but will hit the spot, just don't order iffy stuff.View more
Been going here for years & never seems to disappoint. The wood oven pizza is a must. Their linguini primavera in rosee sauce keeps wanting you to come back for more. Service is always friendly & pleasant & ambiance is definitely old school but intimate. A lovely place to dine-in.View more
Excellent brick oven pizza. It's not a brick oven heated by gas. They actually use wood to cook with.View more
Do not go here for pizza. Yes, it is a wood oven...but there must be better pizza in this city. This restaurant was close to our hotel & seemed legit, thought we would give it a try. The quality was not good though. Honestly, I'd rather eat a frozen pizza.View more

You don't necessarily go there for the food, because although it is good, what makes this restaurant great is the ambiance & the "directness" of the waiters. Never rude but to the point. With a real Italian ambiance, I'll keep going back for the firewood oven, the house wine by the pitcher & the table cloths.View more
I went here with my mom for our first dinner out in Montreal in Oct & really liked the inside décor & the giant brick oven behind tucked in the corner. I ordered the Fileto Di Sole Al Limone it wasn't the most visually appealing dish for sure but the flavor profiles definitely came out in the sauce. Very good place for pizza I could imagine.View more
Our first visit to Siciliana. Audrey, our server was amazing. Super friendly & attentive. Wood fired pizza oven & fresh pasta are the staples here. A real "mom & pop" feel to the place. A diverse crowd - families & students. The only down side was the veal in the veal masala, salty & over cooked; the sauce & mushrooms were spot on. My manicotti was good. Fresh & tasty. Servings were generous. Our bottle of ripasso was the perfect compliment. Next time, we will try the pizza!View more
