About us
Located in the Theater complex of the Dix30 District, Rouge restaurant accommodates you in an elegant and cordial decor, inspired by the history of old China. Our chefs are specialized in fine cuisine, with their unique interpretation of such dishes. We propose an attractive combination of authentic dishes coming from various areas of China (Szechwan, Hunan, Cantonese) but also Thai, Malaysian and Mongolian dishes. Our fine cuisine style offers a new Eastern flavor and is presented to you in abundance. Rouge offers a large variety of first-quality vegetables, meats, poultry and seafood. Finally, a nice selection of wine, beer and alcohol will accompany your so desired meal.

Excellent service! I tried wonton soup for the first time & it was worth the wait to try it at Rouge. The Singapore noodles were absolutely delicious as well!

We had to wait quite a while to be seated. The host seemed distracted-laughing, moving around, & even eating-before finally coming to entrance to ask how many are we.
The music was extremely loud-I couldn't even hear myself, let alone have a conversation with my friends, which was really frustrating.
We ordered from the lunch set menu, which included soup, a main dish, tea, & dessert. The food was superb. I had the tofu, which was served with flavorful rice & a fresh salad. The green tea was pleasant, & the banana fries for dessert were just okay.
Overall, a 👍 experience for the food, but the service & ambiance could use improvement.

Très déçu de la nourriture. Je n'ai jamais mangé une soupe aigre douce aussi mauvaise. Ce n'est pas supposé être une soupe épaisse & sucrée ! Le pad thaï n'avait pas l'air d'un pad thaï ! Ça ressemblait à un spaghetti avec des crevettes & du poulet avec une sauce rouge sucrée & épicée. Rien à voir avec le vrai pad thaï. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.

Souper d'amis, soir de semaine, début décembre. Resto assez tranquille. Menu beaucoup trop long. Carte des vins bien. Raviollis hunan, excellent mais trop cher a 11$. Je me trompe rarement avec mon choix de plat, mais les nouilles Dan Dan devrait etre retiré du menu. Horrible. & à 24$, un des pire choix possible. 2 drinks, 29$. Total individuel, 85$ taxes & pb. Il n'y a aucune valeure ni aucune raison d'y retourné. Vous n'avez pas saisie l'occasion de fidélisé une nouvelle clientèle, & c'est pour cette raison que j'irais dépenser mon $$$ ailleurs.

2h in & we don't have our mains yet; some appetizers never came. Service is rude, not checking in on us. Timings on the courses not synchronized, with some getting their appetizers half an hour after others. The fried food was 99% fried 1% food, the hot & sour soup had the texture of jello. Some of the classics were okay, like Orange Beef & Peanut Chicken. Calamari & Salt Pepper shrimp were inedible. Would not recommend.

Bel endroit mais nourriture fade, trop grasse. Soupe servie tiède, crevettes sans saveur, bananes frites froides, farineuse, panure épaisse & sans saveur. Je n'y retournerai certainement pas. Nous avons été servis avec sourire & efficacité.

Nous avons pris la table d'hôte, soupe aigre piquante, rouleaux impériaux, poulet Général tao, pad thaï poulet & crevettes & comme dessert bananes frites , tous étaient vraiment délicieux, bonnes portions & belle ambiance. Notre serveuse Louise Marie était vraiment sympathique, efficace & avec un merveilleux sourire.

Restaurant trop cher pour les repas, mais je comprends que l'on paie pour le 10-30, la soupe aigre-piquante est fade, & la bouffe est simpliste! Le service était horrible pour nous! Mais l'ambiance est pas si mal & c'est propre!

I had to pick up this review immediately after my meal, I could of picked it after the entré, for it was a precursor to the rest of our meal. The ingredients are fresh & most definitely made within hours of the service. I have had my share of asian style foods, & this was by far one of the best''top two'' restaurants I have had the pleasure to sit in & eat. The imperial rolls were tightly rolled & packed with yummy flavor with a nice dipping juice to enjoy that married perfectly with the roll. One of the best won-tong soups I have eaten, ever. I chose a simple yet flavourful Pad See Ew, I was impressed by the mouth melting meat of this plate, the noodles were perfectly cooked & hearty greenery were a treat. The portions were very generous. I was fortunate to have tasted also the general tao dish, the udon beef dish, & the pad thai, these were all very deliciously prepared, with the portions just the same. The service was quick & efficient & all at a fair price. & the chocolate mousse was very tasteful & delightfully balanced. We had Gluten free members with us & they gave their GF plates a 10/10 rating. What a great party of 12 they served. Bonne appétit!

Service beaucoup trop rapide, à peine notre cocktail déposé, la soupe puis les entrées sont arrivés, nous avons fini notre cocktail avec le plat principal!!!

Malheureusement, la nourriture était très moyenne. Du croquant dans les won ton de la soupe, des rouleaux impériaux très gras & du poulet général Tao dur avec beaucoup de panure.

J'ai eu un très bon service les 3 fois que j'ai été à ce resto. La soupe won-ton est bonne, le général tao aussi mais le cari au poulet manque de goût & de touche asiatique. Il y a plus de légumes de type québécois que de type asiatique.
