Ordered via Door Dash & wow, the food is crazy good! Griot was tender, the djondjon rice was flavourful & I love their hibiscus & lemonade drink. Yes, the size of the plates might be a bit smaller compared to typical haitian restaurants, but you still get a good quantity of food that has great quality! I will definitely visit & order from this place again & again.View more

The food was great! Excellent place to go as a large group (with a reservation). Very nice selection of drinks as well. Everything was tasty, but the goat was next level. I think I'm going back today to get more.
The music was a bit loud, but it was a Saturday night, so might not always be like this.View more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. It's the 2nd year I go there on my birthday. It's small but very very cozy. They play really good music, I always dance while I eat. Ive been to Pikliz on multiple occasions & not only is the service top tier & friendly, the food is also delicious & flavorful. The drink selection is unique, tropical & makes you forget for an instance that you're in Montreal. Most special is the vibe. It feels like home, only better. There's a level of comfort & acceptance you feel when you're there, but it's also a party. Highly recommend for any occasion or even just a night out.View more

I've always been curious about what people were eating whenever I passed by Atwater Market, & I finally got the chance to try it! I ordered the BBQ Chicken, which tasted quite similar to jerk chicken, & the hot sauce on top was delicious with a hint of mango. As for the patties, I tried both the codfish & beef-while the beef one was tasty, the fish one had a bit of a strong flavor. The chicken wings were average & could be skipped. The highlight of the meal was definitely the shrimp. It was perfectly coated, fried to a crispy finish, & paired with a fantastic sauce that made it absolutely irresistible. We even ended up ordering a second round of it! Overall, the portions are on the smaller side, more like tapas. Without drinks, it's about $30 per person.View more

Ma soeur & moi avons adoré notre visite au Pikliz. La serveuse nous a bien accueillie. Elle était souriante & attentionnée. Malgré qu'elle était seule, elle s'occupait très bien des clients en restaurant que les commandes à emporter & on a manqué de rien. La nourriture était excellente. On a commandé les pâtés au boeuf( feuilletés à souhait), les shwamps & les accras(croustillants) & la mayonaise qui accompagnait nos entrées était délicieuse. Le macaroni était très bon aussi avec son petit croustillant sur le dessus. On a commandé le wrap pikliz au griot & il était très gouteux avec la guacamole, le pikliz & la sauce. On a aussi adoré nos drinks Ti Soley & nos desserts: le gâteau ananas qui a été servi comme on l'aime: chaud & les excellents beignets aux bananes qui fondaient en bouche. Nous serons définitivement de retour pour goûter d'autres items du menu.View more

Parfait resto pour savourer des plats plus délicieux les uns les autres! Les ptits bato, les accras, le ceviche & bien sûr le griyo sont à se rouler par terre. Les drinks sont originaux & font carrément oublier le temps gris à l'extérieur. La vibe est très cool aussi & le staff te traite aux petits oignons. La musique le samedi soir est top aussi. Very cute little restaurant in St-Henri, that serves amazing Haitian food. We are very picky when it comes to griyo & this place just nailed it. Their riz collé is absolutely the best! It's a pretty small place, so I'd recommend you come early since almost all the tables were reserved. Food was pretty good, not exceptional. Griyo (pork) was sooooo dry. But the grilled chicken, rice & accara were all good. A bit expensive for how small portions are. Drinks were nothing special unfortunately. & again, expensive. Glad we tried it, but nothing is tempting me back.View more

The food was A+ . It was made to order so everything was hot, fresh, & tasty 👅. The drinks 🍹 were good - & the shots got us right. Now, let me tell y’all something - those women in the back probably married/wife’s up because they put their foot in the lamb & rice. That rice was moist & chicken was seasoned perfect. Add the side of sauce , it babbbyyy my belly & heart left happy & fulfilled 😂😂😂.
Akim (restaurant owner) was there & he provided exceptional customer service to all patrons. I loved the restaurants ambiance. It gave what it was supposed to give. 💐 to Akim & his team. My wife & I wanted to try "real" Haitian food & decide to visit this little place. We arrived at 6:30 pm & the place was packed & loud. No one greeted us & after waiting a few minutes I asked a waiter how long it'll take to get us a table. She said she didn't know & didn't have a waiting list. We asked if we could seat outside & she said yes. After waiting another 10 minutes without even bothering to serve us water I went back inside & asked for the menu. I was pointed to a QR code in a window. We waited again for someone to take our order in vain so I got up again & asked an other waiter if he could take it which he did. After a few minutes he brought our drinks (Jamaican flavoured water with no alcohol since we don't drink), which was no more than a mix of syrup with water & ice in a cardboard cup. 20 minutes later our waiter came out & I asked her about our food. She said she would look into it. Another 10 minutes passed & I went inside to ask again. The waiter went to the kitchen & came back asking me to order again since the kitchen didn't have it. I asked her to cancel it & for the check. She charged $16 dlls just for our drinks!!! I was sure it was a mistake & told her so. She just smiled & said that there was no mistake!! Didn't even apologized!! If you decide to try this place make sure you ask for an inside table & prices for whatever you ask for. & be prepared to wait over an hour to be served if at all!
