Food is amazing but bro 30$ for a scoop of rice should be a crime rice & chicken literally cost nothing I would order there everyday if they were more generous with the portions But unfortunately

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. It's the 2nd year I go there on my birthday. It's small but very very cozy. They play really good music, I always dance while I eat. They have an incredible menu the food is 💯💯💯. They also have very delicious drinks. The staff is always kind & freindly. The owner is very nice & I just love eating at this restaurant. I lovvvee pikliz 💕💕💕
L'accueil est chaleureux, le service rapide & le serveur était particulièrement sympathique, ce qui a contribué à une bonne première impression.
Cependant, côté assiette, c'est une autre histoire. Les portions sont vraiment très petites par rapport au prix payé. Le riz était complètement raté (trop cuit)- dommage pour un accompagnement de base.
Heureusement, le griot était savoureux, bien assaisonné & tendre, un vrai point fort du repas. Par contre, ne vous attendez pas à être rassasié : une seule banane pesée vous sera servie… oui, une seule.
Genuinely enjoyable dining experience. From the excellent service, to the atmosphere (the decor!!), & of course the food. I have to say that I can't remember the last time I had a meal this well seasoned. I wished my meal never ended.

We really enjoyed our time at Piklìz! The atmosphere was quaint, the service was lovely & the food delicious!
We really loved the Poul BBQ, which was just the right amount of spicy 😊
We'd definitely come back here in the future!
the food was very tasty. inflation is a thing but there is no way you can make people pay 25 30 $ for a plate & you barily fill anything in it...yet alone rice which costs nothing to make...ive joined a picture of what a 28$ plate looks like... disappointed but the potential is there. fix your portions & it will be amazing. chicken plate was the same portions. also. mini macaroni, mini pikliz, mini plate at prices that make no sense for the size.
J'ai commandé le « Combo Malé-Poul Frit » & les beignets aux bananes. Honnêtement, j'ai rarement mangé quelque chose d'aussi bon, c'était magnifique: le poulet était tendre, les plantains étaient parfaitement salés & croustillants, les sauces étaient parfaitement assaisonnées, les beignets aux pommes étaient moelleux à l'intérieur & croustillant à l'extérieur justeeee Bravo!!!
Ive been to Pikliz on multiple occasions & not only is the service top tier & friendly, the food is also delicious & flavorful. The drink selection is unique, tropical & makes you forget for an instance that you're in Montreal. Most special is the vibe. It feels like home, only better. There's a level of comfort & acceptance you feel when you're there, but it's also a party. Highly recommend for any occasion or even just a night out.

We stopped to grab takeout while travelling through Montreal en route to Toronto & will now be making a stop at Pikliz a tradition. The food was amazing! Glad I purchased a couple extra orders of rice to bring back with me. The griot & the goat poutine were fantastic, & the patties were so light & delicious. 10/10.
Best best best Haitian food in Montreal! Akim is a very welcoming owner, & makes you feel at home instantaneously. Highly recommend their ceviche, their griot, & their wrap. On top of it, their cocktails are awesome. Love Pikliz !!!
Petite place sympa à aller manger entre amis ou en amoureux. Le griots était bon. Le riz djon djon était bon. L'endroit est très bien aménagé & charmant donnant une bonne ambiance. Quoi que ça peut être chère pour les portions données. Pikliz, endroit à découvrir. Nice little place to eat with friends or lovers. The griots were good. The djon djon rice was good. The place is very well appointed & charming giving a good atmosphere. Although it can be expensive for the portions given. Pikliz, place to discover.
