At Piklìz, our mission is to bring Caribbean flavors to you with love and authenticity. With great respect for this inspiring cultural heritage, we honor it while creatively crafting our menu and working with only the freshest, highest quality foods. We believe that these culinary journeys will contribute to your happiness, one meal at a time.
Pikliz consistently earns high praise for its authentic Haitian flavors, with the griot, djondjon rice, pikliz bowls, and other dishes delivering bold seasoning, tender meat, and satisfying portions for many diners, while the warm, welcoming service and cozy, inviting ambiance make the experience feel like a neighborhood spot even when crowded; most reviewers call it a standout in Montreal's Haitian scene and say they would return, though a few note small portions for the price, occasional dryness or overcooked items, and some nights when the noise level or service pace isn't ideal.
Delicious. Ordered a couple times on Uber eats & also ate in person at the restaurant. Really fantastic. My only comment is to please give us more pikliz with online orders the little cup is so tiny. The cup the size of the gravy would be perfect

My uncle was not sure he wanted to go there for his birthday. However I convinced him to go until now he is asking when are we going back. 🤭🤭🤭 the food was so good & we didn't took pictures. One of the thing that my uncle said reminded him a lot of Haiti was papita & he keep asking me do I think Piklìz is selling the papita by itself. 🤣🤣🤣 the owner did have a conversation with my uncle & he was happy about it. Will definitely go back.
Lots of heart in their food, relaxed vibe & super friendly people. Nice tight menu that has something for everyone. Feels like I'm kicking it at my parents place, having a plate of food I couldn't get anywhere else. Owner took some time to see how we were enjoying everything & a little history on the restaurant.

Such a full experience in every way. Amazing, tender wonderfully seasoned tasteful pork, & chicken! The rice...you gotta have the rice, the plantain chips & the fresh guacamole (with a light integrated sprinkling of lemon)...& be sure to save room for the pineapple upside down cake! A small & buzzing atmosphere. I will be back!!🎉😊
Overall, the taste & flavour were decent, the meat was a bit dried & every side food usually within the dish costed extra when included in most places. The dish (griyo) only had the meat & the pikliz. Be aware that plantin, ricole, salad, macaroni is sold & charged separately so food is overpriced. My kid loves griyo but definitely prefers to go to our usual griyo place from now on. Please note that any restaurant should know that not only the food or taste matters but the whole experience from entering the business (welcoming, friendliness, atmosphere, clean space, waiting, etc) to the end.

The food was A+ . It was made to order so everything was hot, fresh, & tasty 👅. The drinks 🍹 were good - & the shots got us right. Now, let me tell y’all something - those women in the back probably married/wife’s up because they put their foot in the lamb & rice. That rice was moist & chicken was seasoned perfect. Add the side of sauce , it babbbyyy my belly & heart left happy & fulfilled 😂😂😂.
Akim (restaurant owner) was there & he provided exceptional customer service to all patrons. I loved the restaurants ambiance. It gave what it was supposed to give. 💐 to Akim & his team. Instagram/tick tock users the restaurant has lots of backgrounds for photos 😜 . Go support this black owned business.
I had the most amazing time at Pikliz, a small Haitian spot in St-Henry. It's like they airlifted a piece of the Caribbean right into the city! The vibes, decor, & those mouthwatering smells totally set the scene.
The service was top-notch, & the staff were super friendly. Akim, the owner, personally checked on every table, making the whole experience feel extra special. We went there to celebrate a birthday, & they treated us like kings & queens.
Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the Griot, & let me tell you, it was off the charts. So juicy, tender, & bursting with flavor. & then there's the Kabrit, the goat dish. It was hands down the best goat I've ever had in my life. To finish off the feast, we had the pineapple cake, & I'm still dreaming about it.
If you're in Montreal & craving some legit Haitian eats, Pikliz is the spot to hit. It's the perfect combo of awesome food, chill vibes, & friendly service that'll make your night unforgettable.
