Les avis mettent en avant des saveurs authentiques, une nourriture réconfortante et des plats comme le crispy pata et le jackfruit qui séduisent, ainsi qu’un cadre convivial et un service sympathique. Certains retours évoquent toutefois des soucis lors de commandes prévues, notamment des demandes d'exclure des oeufs et des noix qui n'ont pas été respectées et une impression que certains plats avaient été conservés au chaud toute la journée, avec un adobo gras et un pancit où les légumes se comptent peu et les nouilles dominent. Des suggestions tournent autour de limiter le volume des commandes afin de mieux répondre aux besoins allergiques et à la fraîcheur des plats. Dans l’ensemble, la clientèle apprécie l’authenticité, les prix abordables et l’esprit maison, avec une expérience sur place ou a emporter et un dessert coloré qui vient clôturer le repas.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent order.
I pre-ordered several dishes two weeks in advance by phone & clearly specified that no eggs & no nuts should be included due to serious allergy restrictions within my family. Unfortunately, one of the five dishes contained a significant amount of eggs, which was very concerning.
In addition, when I picked up the order, I noticed that the adobo & pancit appeared to be leftovers that had been sitting in the warmer all day. The adobo was excessively fatty, & the pancit contained far more noodles than vegetables & chicken. I was quite shocked, as I did not expect to be given food that had been sitting for such a long time-especially for a pre-ordered meal.
I have been a loyal customer for many years & have always chosen your business for special occasions. Sadly, this experience did not reflect the level of service I have come to expect. This year's service was very disappointing.
I kindly suggest that in the future, you limit the number of orders taken so that quality & customer needs especially allergy-related requests-can be properly respected.

Loved the jackfruit. Next time I had the taro leaves with rice. It was $10 for a big plate of seriously flavourful food & a free sample of the wholesome chicken soup. All the staff are really nice :) they're possibly the only resto open on a Tuesday morning
Stopped by Restaurant Papa after a long bike ride because I was starving-& wow, what a great decision. The food was delicious, fresh, & tasted just like a comforting home-cooked meal. I loved the laid-back vibe: if you're dining in, you eat first, then pay; if it's takeout, you pay upfront-simple & friendly.
The portions are super generous, especially the meat-definitely enough for two people's or perfect to save half for a cozy movie night later. Everything tasted clean & homemade.
& just when I thought lunch couldn't get any better-I ended it with their Etat dessert drink. Light, colorful, & full of surprises, it was the perfect sweet finish after a hearty, home-style meal. Highly recommend saving room for this one!

My meal was phenomenal The service was friendly & quick. I had the 2 dish meal adobo & collard greens & sweet sticky rice in banana leaf for dessert. I will definitly come eat here again
