I would say this is the best Indian food I have had. I had the lentil soup, samosas, butter chicken, & rice. All were superb!

Staff were polite & pleasant.

Parking in the area can be difficult but it was worth it.

Good service & a great location. The staff were welcoming & the overall environment was pleasant. However, the food quality needs improvement. I tried the butter chicken, which tasted more like a soup, & the chicken biryani, which was closer to a pulav. The service was good, but the dishes didn't meet expectations, & I hope the quality can be improved.

Nous avons dîné dans ce magnifique restaurant hier, la décoration est superbe avec la belle musique indienne, le service est remarquable avec le serveur gentil, attentionné & souriant , il parle très bien français. J'ai mangé le poulet au beurre & mon mari l'agneau, c'était délicieux. Je recommande ce restaurant pour un souper romantique & une impression d'être en voyage en Inde.

Restaurant Palki hosted a perfect night out for us! The food was excellent, the service too, ambience was on point.

We had the poulet tandoori & the'butter chicken' as our entrees. I started with the Mulligatawny (lentil) soup, which was so delicious I'm convinced it must be a family recipe.

The butter chicken was right up my wife's alley - flavorful without a lot of heat. I haven't had tandoori in a long time & was craving it - chef did not disappoint with fall-off-the-bone tender & moist chicken steeped in bold tandoori flavor. The lime wedge was a perfect touch, it brightened everything right up.

The atmosphere inside is tasteful & very inviting - obviously the ownership wants you to enjoy your whole meal experience, not just the food on your plate.

Palki is the kind of place that reminds me what dining out should be like in restaurants of any cuisine & I hope we see more restaurants return to, in the future.

Highly recommended, please try it for yourself! If I was local I'd be a regular but since I was visiting I'm very glad I can say Restaurant Palki was part of our Montreal Experience.

Some of the best Indian food around. The Palki Massala Kara is great. Tender morsels of lamb with a lots of vegetables al dente. Their naan bread is also very good & their raita has a good balance of smoothness, vegetables & spices. & yes try their dhal soup. Taskin does a great job at the tables.
