The food here is the real deal-incredibly flavorful & striking that perfect balance of traditional Indian spices & fresh ingredients. Whether you prefer a mild curry or something with a serious kick, the kitchen delivers authentic quality in every bite.
Beyond the menu, the hospitality is standout; the staff was very nice & welcoming from the moment I walked in. It is also a notably clean restaurant with a pleasant, well-maintained interior that makes the entire dining experience feel comfortable & polished.
Between the authentic flavors & the warm service, Palki stands out as one of the best Indian spots in Montréal. I'll definitely be coming back!
Some of the best Indian food around. The Palki Massala Kara is great. Tender morsels of lamb with a lots of vegetables al dente. Their naan bread is also very good & their raita has a good balance of smoothness, vegetables & spices. & yes try their dhal soup. Taskin does a great job at the tables.
Hello, we were going to a play at the Centaur Theatre & wanted a meal before. As we strolled through Notre-Dame street, we came across Restaurant Palki Indian Cuisine. We found a special combo for two ($50), which included salad & the main dish, chicken, shrimp, & lamb chops (2 pieces of each) served with a delicate rice & vegetables (not too spicy, just right). The decor was calm & relaxing, the atmosphere was very friendly, the service was impeccable, & our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We will go back next time & highly recommend them. Last Saturday i had dinner with my family & it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious, authentic, & full of rich Indian flavors. I've tried many places, but I truly love the Indian food here the most. The service was excellent & the atmosphere warm & welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys genuine Indian cuisine!
Amazing food! Best in town. I've tried food from many places that claimed to be'Indian,' but this place truly delivers authentic flavours. Their special recipes make every dish exceptionally delicious!
The food was amazing i tried indian food from other places in montreal which is not good at all but this restaurant is the best to go if u want tasty indian food in montreal
What a great find. While on a Canadian vacation, we found a very personable & delicious Indian restaurant. We were immediately met with a friendly smile & seated wherever that suited us. The server & others waited on us highly attentively & walked us through the menu. This attention lasted throughout our visit.
The Paneer Masala included spinach, which was a little bit of a spin from the other Indian restaurants we have frequented over the years. It had a deep, yet slightly sweet flavor. The butter chicken was plentiful of breast meat & had a sauce that was smooth & flavorful.
The crew said they had only been open for 2 weeks. I would say they're off to a good start. Keep the friendly & attentive service approach & you'll be successful.
We were very fortunate to find Palki restaurant (serving an Indian Cuisine) while on vacation in Montreal (Sep 2025). Even though one of our party has fairly strict dietary requirements (of vegetarian & no cheese), the food was absolutely delicious, cooked exactly to the spice level we preferred. The service was excellent (we even were able to meet & speak with the chef) & we enjoyed the atmosphere. Although the restaurant did not yet have its' alcohol license (due this week), we really didn't miss it for the food was so good & we enjoyed the specialty tea. We highly recommend it to both visitors & locals alike.
