Can't say enough about this place. My 2 colleagues invited me for a year-end (thank you) lunch just today & I can't believe how delicious everything was, from the fresh bread & humus, to the endive salad & Beef tartare. & don't forget our sommelier, the lovely Salomé, a genuinely nice person who takes pride in her work & wine knowledge. Presents the dishes with such passion. Everything was perfect & can't wait to go back.

I was completely charmed by this restaurant from start to finish. I went for lunch & shared three entrées & a dessert (a great way to sample the menu) The beef tartare & grilled calamari were absolutely divine, with unexpected yet harmonious flavour & texture pairings that made each bite an experience.
The service was impeccable, attentive, thoughtful, & very accommodating when it came to allergies & personal preferences. Even the bathroom left a great impression: spotless, pleasantly scented, & stocked with an eco-friendly hand soap that smelled as good as it felt.
The decor is stylish & inviting, & the terrasse is a true gem - the kind of place you'll want to linger.

Great lunch spot with dainty patio & light food options. We enjoyed a salad & a pasta on a humid Montreal day, & the place was ideal for it. The seats filled up quite rapidly during lunch time, but didn't feel too packed or noisy.

This is one of my girlfriend's & mines favourite restaurants in Montreal (Top 3). We have been there over 20 times including breakfast, lunch & dinner. The food is consistently delicious, the staff are so warm, the atmosphere is nice & elegant, they greatly execute their French theme, & always deliver great service. The owner puts a lot of hard work & care into the restaurant, which shows in its amazing reputation.
super meh. interior is nice but service was awful. we were 3 & we sat for 15 min before getting water lol. server said she was "going to find some water" went once for breakfast, was fine. went once for lunch, was fine. for the price, go somewhere else. its a corporate lunch break spot & the vibes are just off.
We came here for a weekday lunch. I strongly recommend making reservations in advance because we waited for more than 20 minutes to be seated although a couple of tables were empty. They have a modest fusion menu that varies from Mediterranean cuisine to seafood & tartare. The decoration of the restaurant is very cute & cozy, it has bigger tables for gatherings & also high bar chairs if you want to bring your laptop & work there. The service is rather slow though & might not be efficient during a work- day lunchtime. We ordered "Hummus with Pita", Chicken Skewers with Tzatziki", "Fattoush Salad" & "Seasoned Fish". Hummus & salad were really good. Chicken skewers tasted okay, but fish wasn't seasoned enough & was smelly. I would definitely love to try their weekend brunch.

In general in montreal & everywhere in the world, the restaurant experience has changed. Recently, I've found experiences disappointing: food recipes not great & too expensive for the quality, level of service not enjoyable, etc. Our lunch at Melisse was incredible ! The waitress, from the start, set the tone for the great quality of service we were about to have. She is passionate & very knowledgeable. The food was so flavourful, with recipes that put forward the quality ingredients used. This is a great go-to to threat yourself !

Melisse est un petit joyau culinaire! Les plats à partager sont délicieusement savoureux, idéaux pour un lunch d'affaires. Le cadre est charmant, & le parking souterrain à proximité, bien que payant, offre une commodité appréciable. Une expérience gastronomique à recommander sans hésitation!
J'ai adoré mon repas au Mélisse. C'était sur l'heure du lunch, nous avons pu profiter de la jolie terrasse. Le menu était très intéressant, les plats que nous avons goûtés étaient savoureux & bien présentés. Le service est excellent. J'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.
