I had a weird experience here during my solo brunch. The waitress did not ask me if my food was fine, how things were going, did not refill my water & my flat white came 15 minutes after my meal when I was already halfway done eating. Odd experience! Did not feel like a dining experience.

Brunch: I was dissapointed with the new brunch menu & that the avocado toast were no longer available. Also, the coffee arrived when we were midway through the meal.

Mélisse is one of my absolute favorite spots in Montreal. Every visit is consistently exceptional.

The atmosphere is beautiful, bright, & inviting, with a relaxed elegance that makes it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a slow weekend brunch morning. The service is warm, attentive, & always makes you feel genuinely welcome.

Every dish is made with high-quality ingredients & thoughtful flavors that feel both comforting & refined. You can really tell that every plate is prepared with care.

If you're looking for a brunch experience that's as memorable as it is delicious, Mélisse is a must-visit. It's one of those places I find myself recommending again & again, & I always leave looking forward to my next visit. Thank you

All style & little substance. Underwhelmed with the selection, food & service. Took my mom here for Mother's Day Brunch & after we looked at the menu & decided, were informed they were out of 2 menu items *including the breakfast sandwich* . LIKE, WHAT? That is like a coffee shop running out of milk. We were not offered any similar breakfast-y items, just a salade nicoise, which we declined. Also, portions are small & coffee was lukewarm.

I've been here for both brunch & dinner now. Both experiences have been very pleasant.

Brunch - The Shakshuka & the potatoes are were delicious, & the pancakes were not overly sweet. Service was good too.

Dinner - We had our Valentine's day date this time. The tuna crudo was by far our favourite. Highly recommend the chicken kefta as well. Every table had a cute flower & a REAL candle (don't see those very often). & our server was very professional (I think it was the manager or owner?). He offered great recommendations, pairings, & detailed explanations for each dish.

My favourite place for Sunday brunch, unique & top grade ingredients … it doesn't matter if you have the humble grilled cheese taken to another level or the top flight xsmokedx (yes gravlax) salmon (could it be from Matane?… no in-house)

I used to frequently go here for brunch & was disappointed on a recent visit. Service was slow & unfriendly. The highlight was the egg & bacon tart, but the size of the orange juice made me regret paying so much for juice. The salmon tartine also did not have much salmon, but a lot of crusty bread. The menu is smaller than it used to be & lacks some things I would expect of a brunch place.
