Based on my experience, the 5 star reviews are no joke. & no I'm not a friend of whoever owns the place - before tonite I didn't even know this place existed, was just looking to pick up a good burger for a picnic along the water. Melano did not disappoint. Burger & poutine were fresh, tasty & not messy like at other places, perfect for a picnic. Highly recommended.View more

I don't believe in review bombing but I do believe in fair reviews. This was my first time eating from this restaurant. I ordered using Uber Eats. I ordered spaghetti meat balls, 1 poutine, 1 meatball sandwich. The spaghetti was 95% pasta & 5% sauce with two meatballs. Tasted okay at best. The poutine was very light on cheese. Was mediocre. To be fair, the meatball sandwich was tasty, but quite small for 18$ All in all, 2 stars for the sandwich, but I can't believe this place only has 5 star reviews so far. Hard to not be skeptical that they may all be from family & friends. Definitely never eating there again.View more
