I love this spot! It's a beautiful little restaurant in such an unexpected place. & the food- is outstanding. Their menus are just so well done. They use local ingredients to make a wonderful tasting menu that will not disappoint. I feel like this is a place to go when you don't want to decide what to eat & want to be surprised, & want that surprise to be GOOD. The staff is wonderful. Super sweet & just absolutely pleasant. I can't wait to go back!
Went for my birthday with my fiancee & we had an amazing time. The servers were the nicest people & the service was really fast. The food was excellent. Highly recommended! Will definitely go back!
Delicious tasting menu & generally great wine pairings. I found it hard to hear the servers for some reason, but overall it was a great experience with some really creative dishes & flavors. I'd definitely return.

Mon copain m'a fait la surprise de ce restaurant pour mon anniversaire. Le concept de ne pas savoir ce que le menu est, est très cool. J'ai beaucoup apprécié les vins servis avec l'accord. Ils étaient vraiment originaux & diversifiés. Le service était impeccable, & le décor vraiment romantique. Je recommande à tous!

Absolument conquis par ce premier diner dans cet établissement ! Félicitations à cette dynamique & sympathique équipe ! Accueil chaleureux. Cadre douillet. Ambiance feutrée. Menu carte blanche de 5 plats à base de produits nature de la région. Explosion de saveurs admirablement associées. Finesse du doré sublimée par l'estragon. Vins très bien sélectionnés par une sommelière pointue sachant parler de ses flacons. Une particularité rare: les plats sont servis & présentés par leurs exécutants. Expérience à renouveler.
What an amazing experience. I don't drink so I was kinda sad that I couldn't try the wine pairing but our waitress offered us a non-alcoholic pairing with the 5 courses & it was simply amazing. Definitly one of my highlights, the mocktail were incredible & all paired perfectly with the service they came with. Thank you for the evening, we had an amazing night.
Expérience culinaire mémorable. Les plats sont présentés de façon unique. Un menu 5 services préparé avec soin & attention. L'accord vin est un incontournable. Tout était succulent de la mise en bouche au dessert. Une mention spéciale à Gabrielle Plastre, sommelière, qui nous a charmé en nous décrivant avec passion les vins qui nous étaient servis. Un merci au chef Simon Mathys qui est gentiment passé nous saluer ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe pour le service impeccable & d'un grand professionnalisme.

What an evening! We had booked the entire restaurant for our Xmas party, & everything, from the welcoming cocktail to the amazing food to the wine pairing (mocktails looked amazing too!) to the incredible service was absolutely perfect. A big thank you to everyone!
Best experience we have had in a long time. From start to finish everything was excellent. We did the wine pairing too. Each dish is presented by a member of the team - often someone who is doing the actual cooking - which is fabulous. It's a 5 course tasting menu at 85 CAD - exceptional value. We added black truffle to the first course. Over the course of the meal we had scallop, duck, walleye, mushrooms, potato, foie gras. Dessert - wintergreen ice cream & crab apple was a revelation. The staff work as a team. We were seated at the bar & had a view into the kitchen. Mastard is a must if you are in Montreal.
Nous sommes allés au Mastard le 7 Novembre. Quel expérience mémorable. Nous étions assis au bar & le serveur était extrêmement gentil. L'ambiance & superbe & nous avions la chance d'avoir la vue sur la cuisine ou tous le monde avait l'air d'avoir du plaisir. Le menu était fabuleux & bien balancé. Le propio a même pris le temps de venir nous jaser. Mastard je recommande à tous !!!!
