Came here for my partner's birthday - we were lucky to book before they earned their Michelin star. It lived up to the hype. Each dish was fresh, unique, & full of delightful surprises - we didn't want them to end.
My partner had the wine pairing & I had the non-alcoholic one. Both were thoughtfully curated, with a special shoutout to the bartender for the creativity behind the non-alcoholic options.
There was a hiccup - the wine pairing was missed for the first two courses until we asked. They ended up serving the missed wine with an extra dish we ordered (the lobster with foie gras - absolutely heavenly).
Ambiance : j'y suis allé avant & après les rénos & tout a été amélioré. Les tables sont disposées pour donner une impression d'intimité, sans pour autant se sentir seul. La musique est bonne & on peut discuter sans problème.
Service : tout simplement parfait.
Nourriture : une véritable oeuvre d'art. On voit bien que les gens en cuisine aiment ce qu'ils font car tout, TOUT, est à couper le souffle, des goûts, aux présentations en passant par la variété des ingrédients d'ici (ou de pas très loin).
Un endroit à découvrir encore & encore.

On a eu une soirée parfaite, tout était à la hauteur des attentes. Les skills du chef Simon, & toute son équipe, sont en pente ascendantes depuis plus de 10 ans (mon expérience).
Great experience, you get to enjoy a 5 course blind tasting. I found that each course they brought out was even better than the last.
Was about the perfect amount of food, I didn't feel full until I finished dessert which was perfect.
Servers were all very friendly & were happy to speak English to accommodate us. When they brought out each course they gave us a detailed description of what we were about to eat, & they gave us a card at the end of the meal with the descriptions which my wife liked because she really wanted to remember what everything was.
The food was very impressive..the best of our trip
I got wine paring which was very nice
Each wine is imported from a different country
My fiance got an extra a course which was foie gras & lobster..he said it was really good
I gave 4 stars service because our waiter forgot my wine..I have to ask for it
S'il est un établissement qui mérite d'être connu, c'est bien Mastard.
Le repas était incroyable : des mets fins, de saison & locaux. Un menu unique qui évolue au fil des saisons, toujours avec justesse.
La carte des vins est superbe, & les accords mets-vins sont parfaitement maîtrisés.
Quant aux cocktails, ils sont à tester absolument (ce soir là préparés avec passion par Julian - on adore!).
Un grand merci au chef & à toute l'équipe pour cette expérience inoubliable à votre table.

En couple. Expérience culinaire digne de mention. La présentation & les saveurs un pure délice pour chaque plat. Une équipe exceptionnelle. Le concept de service distinctif. Notre serveur Julian a été un ajout formidable à cette soirée. L'accord vin un très bon choix. $$$$$ secondaire en raison de l'expérience mémorable. Ce restaurant est un choix parfait pour les personnes épicuriennes.

Mon conjoint & moi avons adoré notre expérience au Mastard. Du début à la fin, que ce soit la cuisine, le service , le lieu. Le concept de menu unique est super. On se laisse porter, tout était très bon, diversifié, de belles découvertes. Le service est juste par-fait ! Vraiment je n'ai aucun point négatif ou moyen. Foncez vous allez vous régaler !
Best meal I've had in a long time. I expected the great food but to my surprise it was the non-alcohol drink pairings that took my experience to the next level. Top notch all-round from beginning to end. Bravo.

Restaurant gastronomique exceptionnel. Accord mets-vins époustouflant ! Caille, pétoncle, boeuf, poisson tout était fantastique. Le vin était fabuleux. Définitivement une des meilleures tables de Montréal !
C'était franchement exceptionnel. Nous nous sommes régalées de la première à la dernière bouchée & les accords mets-vins ont été époustouflants. Mention spéciale au service également. J'ai très hâte d'y retourner.
