Restaurant gastronomique exceptionnel. Accord mets-vins époustouflant ! Caille, pétoncle, boeuf, poisson tout était fantastique. Le vin était fabuleux. Définitivement une des meilleures tables de Montréal !
C'était franchement exceptionnel. Nous nous sommes régalées de la première à la dernière bouchée & les accords mets-vins ont été époustouflants. Mention spéciale au service également. J'ai très hâte d'y retourner.

L'un des meilleurs restos à Montréal. Tout était délicieux avec beaucoup d'ingrédients locaux. Excellent service aussi. Nous avons hâte d'essayer le menu de la prochaine saison !
Mastard deserves 5 stars for the delicious dishes served. We have the moon alcoholic drink pairing for 45$ to accompany the 5-course meal. You do not choose your meal here- the chefs crate the menu & each dish is a surprise. The chefs came out for each service to present what made up each dish. Perfect for foodies who appreciate to learn more about ingredients used - similar to what we experienced in the south of France in Michelin star establishments. Local ingredients were at the forefront & although places like this usually may give off a snob vibe, this place does not. The food was comforting & the chefs came out themselves at each service providing a down to earth & familiar approach. Service is where 1 star had to be deducted & it is so unfortunate. We came here for my birthday as a group of 4. The food restrictions were well detailed in the reservation we made 1 month in advance. One of us called the night before to make sure they had noted the restrictions as well as a special request for the dessert to come out with a candle (this was a surprise I found out the next day). Unfortunately neither request was taken into account. We had to mention the restrictions prior to the service, upon receiving the first dish, & when receiving the 3rd drink which could've made me very ill. Overall great food & highly recommended.
The restaurant is elegant & warm. The food is locally sourced & on par, if not wildly better, than the best restaurants in montreal.
The incredible professionals that comprise this wonderful establishments culinary team ,led by Chef Mathys, serve the very food they cook & explain with great detail where the ingredients came from & how they were prepared & assembled in the creative dishes that Le Mastard offers.
The service is impeccable & knowledgeable & the wine pairings & cocktails are without fault.
What a night I had eating the most delicious food I have had in a very long while.

Nous sommes venus le jour de mon CSQ.
Pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le vin, l'option accompagnement sans alcool est topisssime.
J'ai pris l'option avec & c'est à chaque plat pertinent. Des vins que l'on ne prendrait pas seul, mais qui prennent du sens avec les plats.
Ha.... J'oubliais le service super pro & agréable...pas snob.
& l'ambiance musical. Un peu funky mais pas trop fort.
One of my fave restaurants in MTL. I love their concept of surprising you with the food brought without giving you a menu. They use simple ingredients to make delicious dishes with complex flavors & textures. They also have a non alcoholic wine pairing & they're all unique & goes well with the dishes.
The service is quick & the staff are very friendly. The place is small but cozy with a nice dark ambience.
Nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation & avons été agréablement surpris par la créativité & la finesse des plats. Les saveurs étaient bien équilibrées, avec des associations originales qui mettaient en valeur la qualité des ingrédients.
Cependant, le service n'était pas à la hauteur de la cuisine. Nous avons notamment été déçus par un oubli important : notre vin ne nous a pas été servi avec le plat principal, alors qu'il faisait partie de l'accord mets & vins. Nous avons dû le réclamer, ce qui a un peu gâché l'expérience & cassé le rythme du repas.
En résumé, une très belle découverte sur le plan culinaire, mais le service mériterait d'être plus attentif pour offrir une expérience vraiment impeccable.

Beautiful experience. From exquisite food nicely paired with wine, to friendly & knowledgeable service, to a great ambiance with the proper type of music in background.
C'était un 5* sur absolument tout.
Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Les accords mets & vins étaient bien réussis, & tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation.
Wow! Définitivement en lice selon moi pour le titre de meilleure table à Montréal. Suivant une unique formule dégustation empruntée dignement aux grandes tables de ce monde, chaque plat est à la fois sublimement savoureux, original, riche & esthétique. Cela va de même pour l'accord sans alcool que je recommande fortement. Un menu qui impressionne dans son raffinement & sa technique sans avoir recours aux ingrédients clichés de la haute gastronomie tels le caviar ou la truffe. Un restaurant à revisiter le plus souvent possible avant qu'il devienne certainement moins accessible avec l'arrivée du guide!
