Le Richmond propose une cuisine recherchée du nord de l’Italie avec influences piémontaises, vénitiennes et de l’Émilie-Romagne qui met l’accent sur la fraîcheur des aliments. Le menu est épuré et offre une cuisine de proximité, conçue à partir d’aliments régionaux et locaux. Tout en fraîcheur, le menu met en vedette des aliments de saison ainsi que des produits coup de cœur d’importation privée provenant de petits producteurs d’Italie.
Occupant un espace industriel qui date de la fin des années 1800, Le Richmond offre également une expérience d’ambiance, dans un décor qui allie les matériaux d’époque à d’autres, plus contemporains. Proposant 140 places assises et 70 places sur la terrasse, Le Richmond est incontestablement le plus grand restaurant de Griffintown.

Thursday night yet the restaurant was EMPTY! There were literally 2 other tables a side from ours. Our server was kind but clearly never trained, brought the wrong bottle of wine twice, could not answer basic questions on the menu, did not refill our glasses, etc. With the lack of labor, I can understand & accept that, not a big deal. Where the restaurant really fell short of expectations was on quality! Fois gras poilé was served cold, steak was over cooked, they ran out of Perrier after 1 bottle served. On top of that the chef flat out refused to serve the steak with grilled/crushed garlic, our poor server had to share with us the awkward refusal. Tons of great restaurants in Montreal, 120$ steak or 35$ carbonara can be had in many better locations around town.Voir plus

I recently brunched here with a group of friends. While the space is lovely & our service was kind & attentive, the food was very disappointing. I ordered Le Santé, which advertises poached eggs, smoked salmon, cottage cheese, avocado toast, & Greek yogurt with fresh fruit & granola. The avocado toast was a sad slice of bread that was smeared with what looked like prepackaged avocado spread & the poached eggs were watery & cold. After spending over $30 on my plate & a coffee, I left feeling hungry & let down.Voir plus

We had a holiday party here for our work & it was a lovely experience! The maitre d'hôtel Elias was very efficient at managing his team. He got our orders on time, the food was the right temperature & tasty. In addition, they were very on point on being attentive to some of our guests who have food allergies & sensitivities. L'ambiance est sans aucun doute l'un des points forts de ce restaurant. Le décor est soigné & l'atmosphère générale invite à la détente & au plaisir. La carte des vins est très impressionnante, avec une sélection variée qui ravira les amateurs. Cependant, la qualité de la nourriture n'est pas à la hauteur du niveau de prix annoncé, ce qui peut laisser une certaine déception. En outre, l'absence de bières à la pression est un petit inconvénient qui pourrait améliorer l'expérience globale. Updated review: food & services & dinner is fantastic, however, avoid lunchtime : although service is ok, food seems stale & old & lacks flavor. Fish smelled awful so did the filet mignon. There is almost no options in the main dishes menu which are tiny. Lamb chops served with no sides & fat was raw.Voir plus
