Ils ons commencer à charger extra pour mayo avec un wrap poulet & frites...
Bientôt il chargerons pour ketchup & moutarde, glace pour boisson.... réellement pas un bon geste pour vos clients québécois qui aime bien leur mayo avec frite...

The best fried chicken we've ever had. We've been to Restaurant Le Rapide in Mont-Laurier twice now, & it was incredible both times.

The fried chicken is perfectly crispy, salty, juicy & cooked just right. It's unlike any fried chicken we've had anywhere else, & the gravy is amazing too. Pricing is very good.

We've ordered takeout both times & the staff are fantastic. So friendly on the phone, patient, & happy to answer any questions.

If you're looking for great fried chicken in Mont-Laurier, this place is absolutely worth the stop. We'd honestly drive out of our way to eat here again.

Avoid this place

The chicken was nearly black & both the chicken & fries were beyond greasy & unedible

Edit to add reply:

I have worked food service as a trained cook & it is NOT normal for fried foods to be that greasy when served. I can eat fried foods if they are cooked properly - the food that was served to me was not properly cooked.

My waitress was rather rude & I felt victim blamed when I told them I wouldn't be able to eat the food they brought me without being sick. I also got attitude I got when I said I didn't want anything else as I could not trust good that would come out of that kitchen.

My partner tried to eat his meal & was unable to finish it. We paid for his meal & left.

The lack of accountability from this restaurant is very telling
