Review Summary

Reviews of Le Khmer highlight delicious Khmer cuisine with generous portions and good value, featuring bold, balanced flavors and dishes that many diners described as both satisfying and fresh. The service is frequently praised for friendliness and attentiveness, with staff helping to select portions and accommodate requests, and the atmosphere ranges from quick casual takeout to a welcoming dine in vibe. Several reviews highlight the variety of menu items, including popular favorites like tonkinoise soup and beef loc lac, and some mention catering for events with careful planning, customization, and on time delivery. A few notes of concern appear about maintenance in the washrooms and, in past visits, items such as fried wings, rice, or tonkinoise soup not meeting earlier high standards, but overall impressions remain strong and many say it is a local standout and a place to return to, with additional praise for halal options and a family friendly feel. The restaurant is described as a reliable go to for tasty meals, takeout or casual dining, and remains a favorite for many repeat visits.

On a rainy day driving over to Montreal, I was looking for hearty meal. I've never tried Cambodian food but their existing reviews stating it tastes like authentic Cambodian cuisine enticed me to come in & try.

My personal stand outs for me were the grilled lemon grass chicken, loved the fried egg, rice & pickled carrots either cabbage . The entire rice dish was delicious.

The soup had special lemon grass meat balls which I could instantly tell these were in house made. The soup was so clean & light. Really nice flavour balancing.

Would definitely stop by again if I had a chance to drive by.

Bonus they had old school pac man & rampage games available to play on while we were waiting for our food.

Ordered:
3 Color Rice $16.85
• 2 beef Skewers, 1 Piece grilled chicken, 2 fried rolls, Fried Egg, White rice, Carrot Salad, Sauce

Tonkinoise LeKhmer $13.95
• Soup with Rice noodles, Chicken Broth. Served with Chicken + Beef balls + Shrimp.

Love the food & the fact they accommodate & prepare my food without coriander. I recommend the sandwiches (beef & chicken both yummy), fried chicken & all their meals.
I just wish there were some Lao desserts to try.

Didn't know this place existed till today. Friendly & fast service. Great food! Good Size portions for the price. We tried the Garlic pepper pop le khmer... Better than any pop corn chicken... The skin was still crispy even for takeout. Birds nest was very good. Also tried the beef sandwich, tonkinese soup & beef loc lac. Definitely will be back to try other stuff on the menu!
