What a cozy, quaint place. We went here on a cold & rainy evening in November. We warmed up in the cozy atmosphere with delicious food. The service was perfect, the staff is amazing & sweet. The chef nailed it. We will be back. Great date night spot!
I'm a long-time foodie & lover of all things gastronomic, which I have no qualms about clearly laying the blame at the feet of my sadly departed gourmet Italian mom, who created magic in her kitchen & taught me the ways of eating well (by the time I was 8, I thought my name was'Taste This'). As a resident of Plateau Mont Royal, I am dangerously surrounded by fantastic restaurants (coucou, L'Express! Bonjour Café Cherrier & Miracolo!), but after hearing nothing but rave reviews about Le Bienheureux from a number of my close chef friends, I knew it was finally time to head west yesterday & be one with your wonderful bistro. From the moment we stepped into your cozy restaurant, to the last sip of wine, we were lavished by good cheer, a cool vibe &, most importantly, an outstanding & creative menu. Your huitres à la Bienheureux left me speechless. My taste buds shall never happily recover. Oh, & your perfectly prepared steak d'onglet, presented succulently with your superb sauce à la crème Bleu Élizabeth... Can perfection actually happen in a plate, I ask? Yes, it can, & it did last night. Your talented staff made the evening even more perfect, switching from English to French to English to French, with impeccable style & wit. A big thank you to all of you at Le Bienheureux. Back in 2008-2009, when I worked a one-year contract with Macdonald College, I was often seen wandering aimlessly along Ste. Anne Street, searching for a bistro to embrace, other than, of course, the beautiful Surcouf. The times, they have changed, & to know that Le Bienheureux is now a fixture on Ste. Anne's main drag is a welcome relief. See you very soon, once again.

Cocktail, pain, entrées (carpaccio, huîtres chaudes), vin, plat principal (entrecôte vieilli) & déssert (pavlova ❤?), tout était excellent & les portions généreuses sans être démesurées.
On sent bien la touche locale sur les menus & l'inspiration du chef.

The food!!!!!!!!!! Wow wow wow wow! Everything we put into our mouths was an explosion of flavours & textures … the chef is a true artist .. service was lovely … vibe vivacious! We had a wonderful evening & are so looking forward to coming back ! Run to this restaurant!! It's really wonderful
I was looking for a trendy foodie place & came across a reel of Le Bienhereux. The food, ambiance, atmosphere & vibe were incredible! Went with some girlfriends & ordered a variety of items. Everything was outstanding. Must try the salmon tartare, cod & short ribs! Margaritas were spicy & phenomenal. Highly recommend! Staff & chef were amazing!
A gem of a restaurant. As a local chef im very pleased to be sitting at the bar basking in the evening sun set to enjoy a treat of a tasting menu from sous chef Dan & team. The front of house ran by Dominque is like being welcomed home to your favorite relatives. Im excited for my second course. I am going to make an effort to be a regular here! Thanks for having me!

Fresh ingredients, warm atmosphere, engaging & enthusiastic chef! Great place for a cozy date night in the winter or to enjoy summer weather on the terrace. A gem in Sainte Anne de Bellevue!
Always a wonderful experience & food is delicious! We were 4 girls for a post holiday dinner & everyone loved it, especially the greetings from the chef Guillaume!

It was our first time going to this restaurant, but surely won't be the last. The food was incredible, & the whole experience of being able to watch & interact with Chef Guillaume while he is preparing the food was very special.
It's the kind of restaurant that was missing in Ste-Anne's, a small high end food restaurant at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back!
Ce resto vaut un détour à Saint-Anne de Bellevue. Le nourriture est excellente. Ce qui est cool c'est que nous avons le vue sur la cuisine ce qui permet de voir le chef en action. Le propriétaire est très chalereux.
Quelle fabuleuse expérience nous avons eue ce soir de découvrir cet extraordinaire restaurant qui en plus, n'est qu'à quelques minutes de chez nous! Les deux propriétaires, Mario comme maître d'hôtel, & Guillaume comme chefs, nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous dès les premières minutes dans le restaurant. Il s'agissait de notre premier souper de couple depuis la naissance de notre fille de 13 mois, & nous n'aurions pu mieux trouver mieux. Chaque plat est minutieusement élaboré, soigneusement présenté, & exceptionnellement savoureux. Que dire des conseils impeccables d'accord met-vin, & des savoureux cocktails proposés au menu ou confectionnés selon vos goûts par Mario. Nous retournerons sans hésiter, & une prochaine fois nous apporterons tant notre famille que nos amis pour nous venter d'avoir un restaurant 5 étoiles juste à côté de la maison! Quel bonheur d'avoir Le Bienheureux à quelques pas de chez soi! L'accueil est des plus chaleureux & le menu est incroyable quelle que soit la saison. Chef Guillaume porte un soin tout particulier à la sélection des ingrédients & élabore ses recettes avec passion. C'est un véritable festival de saveurs pour les papilles & une destination incontournable à Sainte-Anne!
