The host prioritized a large group who arrived 20 minutes after us & sat 20 minutes before us. We ended up getting the same booth as them. They acknowledged the mistake, & comped us with free drinks. Nevertheless it was a bit insulting. Food is on point, & you should come hungry & in the mood for creative breakfast brunch dishses...but if you want the simple diner breakfast experience this isn't the place.

Got brunch here for the first time last Friday with some friends. We got there sometime around 11:30am & had to wait ~10 minutes for a table. After being sat, we had some time to look at the menu. After figuring out what I wanted, I took the time to really look at the interior-it's so beautiful! There's a funky, retro, disco vibe to the place that makes it fun & inviting!
I ordered the Bobby Tries Istanbul, while my friends ordered the shakshuka & french toast. All the food was absolutely delicious & very filling! We even had a bit left over that we snacked on later.
The service was also great! Our servers were super kind & even packed up our to-go boxes for us! Would definitely recommend & I'll be coming back here the next time I'm in the city!

We were in this morning at 12:30 for brunch. Who the hell packages my pancakes & eggs & bacon like this. What a waste of food. Took this home to eat later because the serving was huge. All garbage now.

L'Avenue is a great brunch spot located near the Mont-Royal metro station. The food & service were great during out visit on a snowy Montreal day. The seating is a bit cramped but the small place can hold only so many people. Food was delicious.
Note: You might need to wait in a line outside depending on the availability (especially during weekends). They gave free mint/green tea during our wait outside. 🫡

Un vendredi matin à 09:30. Parmis les premiers clients, aucune file d'attente.
Très bon & très copieux. Les assiettes sont gargantuesque! Très bon service. Bonne ambiance mais musique trop forte.

The vibe is like an auto shop. All the servers wear pit crew jumpsuits. Music is 2000s & 90s hip hop. Servers are attentive & helpful with the menu. The food?? Absolutely amazing, huge portions, I couldn't finish it. 10/10. They don't take reservations but the only wait wasn't too long.

One of a kind ! Resto très atypique mais complètement wow. Délicieux, goûteux, garni, peu dispendieux. Le service un peu lent mais le restaurant est plein au bouchon avec des tables à tous les racoins. Faut la peine d'essayer - les habitués font un Line up dehors pour avoir leur places.

The food was amazing!! The only con was having to wait outside for a bit in the cold but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Came in Winter, & yes it well worth waiting for 40 minutes in -14°F temps!!
Had the'I'll Have it All'.
French Toast was probably the best I've ever had! Also the baked beans were amazing!
Service was super friendly & attentive.
Only complaint I would have is the cold brew was a bit watery/ weak

Expérience unique ! Si on hésite entre brunch sucré ou salé,'l'indécis' convient parfaitement & le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel. Les serveurs.ses sont incroyablement gentils & aident à nous plonger dans l'atmosphère haut en couleur de ce restaurant, de la table aux toilettes !
