wooow La Mer Rouge is the definition of ; Do Not Judge The Book By The Cover. Amazing Food amazingly surprised by the savor of fresh sea food. Best Mediterranean Cuisine in Montreal so far for me. You have to try it once at least for real, plus the restaurant is very cozy & charming with decoration that reflect the name. I liked there & really enjoyed the food. Nice Chef!!!

J'étais ravie d'esseyer mes premières pieuvres dans cette resterant. L'accompagnement des pomme de terre grillé était à mon goût pi aussi le service étais rapide. De plus, sympa l'endroit. À faire découvrir à votre amoureux ou amoureuse.
Excellent restaurant...le poisson est super frais...on a pris des sardines farcies trop bonne & la sauce des crevettes était délicieuse...encore bravo pour la propreté & l'accueil. Le service était aussi impeccable. C'est adopté, ils ont gagné des habitués.
I was looking for grilled fish like I had in Bali. I found this place & I could not be happier! I had the Sea Bass (Lou de Mer) with rice & a can of ice cold gingerale. Food came out perfect & quickly too. Very fresh fish. No fuss, no hidden charges, very reasonably priced. Great staff. I'm coming back with more people next time. Thank you!!!
La prise de commande assez moyenne, les couverts des autres clients qui sont partis depuis longtemps pas ramassés du coup des mouches dans la salle, poisson moyennement frais. Serveur pas très propre, cuisinier pas en tenue de cuisine Bref à eviter.

I really enjoyed the food. The fish tasted very fresh just like the fish I have in Egypt. The calamari was very tasty as well. I will come back & recommend this place to my friends
Would not go back. Ordered sea food pizza it was soggy & fell apart, they also charge 8$ for a small rice & 12$ for a large....How can you justify that when an 18lb rice pack is 20$ at the Chinese store? The owner is also very argumentative, he's probably going to respond to this review because he can't be wrong.
