Nous avons organisé un souper surprise pour le départ d'une collègue dans la salle privée du Gaviota, & l'expérience a été absolument impeccable du début à la fin.
La communication avec les membres de l'équipe a été exceptionnelle : professionnelle, rapide & très efficace. Ils ont su s'adapter avec grande flexibilité aux besoins spécifiques de notre événement, ce qui a grandement facilité l'organisation.
Sur place, le service a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Le personnel était attentionné, à l'écoute & toujours prêt à ajuster l'horaire du service des plats afin de respecter le déroulement de la soirée. Les portions étaient généreuses, & la qualité de la nourriture & des cocktails était tout simplement remarquable, chaque plat était un véritable coup de coeur, un solide 10/10.
L'expérience karaoké a été parfaite & a ajouté une touche festive qui a rendu la soirée mémorable. Nous avons passé un moment magnifique dans une ambiance conviviale & bien organisée.
Je recommande fortement ce forfait pour toute occasion spéciale. Une expérience sans faute!
Wow! Un des meilleurs restos mexicains où j'ai mangé. Tout était excellent, du cocktail, à la ceviche au birria. Succulent! J'y retournerai! En plus, ils ont une grande salle au 2e pour recevoir des groupes.

?You should really check out La Gaviota. The birria & pastor tacos are incredible, they're packed with flavor & absolutely delicious. On top of that, Paola provides the best service; she's always so attentive & friendly. They also have an impressive selection of beers, wines, & cocktails. It's the perfect spot for a great meal & a drink with friends.
Restaurant de quartier, ambiance détendue, nourriture correcte rien de wow mais bon. Les cocktails sont bons, service courtois.
Crevettes & poisson pané ont été les plats préférés. Tacos manquent de garnitures, on aurait aimé un peu de salsa, guacamole, coriandre.
Très bon & beau restaurant mexicain ! Ayant la maladie coeliaque, j'apprécie qu'il y ait plusieurs options sans gluten & qu'elles soient identifiées dans le menu. Les enchiladas sont excellents, les cocktails aussi. J'apprécie qu'il y ait un happy hour aussi, parfait pour les 5@7 après le travail.

Essayez les tacos de poisson!!! Ils sont très savoureuses & légèrement épicées. Un vrai régal! Cocktails sont exquis, même ceux sans alcool. Ambiance est très chaleureuse & mexicaine. Musique latina volume parfait. Personal aimable qui parle espagnol & qui nous fait rire. La nourriture est aussi très rapide. Un endroit parfait pour un groupe! This place has a gorgeous terrace & was able to seat us immediately for dinner on a Friday. I had the mango mezcal margarita which was absolutely delicious! The vegetarian al pastor was super flavorful, & I was so happy to see a vegetarian take on this dish with marinated mushrooms instead of pork. We also got the tres leches which was probably my least favorite. It was a bit dense, & not as sweet as I expected compared to other versions of this dessert. After the quick service we got for our drinks & tacos, I regretted ordering it since it took around 30 minutes to come out. Overall definitely recommend this place for authentic, flavorful mexican food or a delicious cocktail.
We are so happy (& lucky) to have La Gaviota right down the street from our house. Their delicious, authentic Mexican food is the best in Montreal, & their cocktails are great too! We have tried their beef tacos, enchiladas suiza, chicken quesadilla, & guacamole - all were excellent!
Some of the tacos were really good, except the rib eye which was tasteless. Great Mezcal cocktail. Service was basic & very slow. There were literally only 5 tables & they were served already. We were a group of 6 & wanted to pay for the birthday gal, the bill took 30 minutes to make, results in picture. Please improve your service, you're missing a lot of opportunities.
