Review Summary

Kuljit India is widely praised as a hidden gem with a warm ambiance and fast, friendly service, offering authentic Indian and Punjabi flavors that shine from samosas and chana bhatura to butter chicken, naan, aloo gobi, and fish pakora. The food is described as fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, with many diners noting generous portions and a homely, no-nonsense approach that keeps locals and visitors coming back for takeout or dine-in. Spice levels are customizable, and some dishes are highlighted as must-tries, including the amritsari kulcha and the chole bhatura. While the restaurant is consistently busy and the overall experience is positive, a few reviews point to occasional portion size changes, uneven service, and decor that could improve, and one account mentions a staff member being less welcoming. On balance, Kuljit India emerges as one of the city's top Indian-Punjabi options, delivering delicious, comforting dishes at fair prices and a reliable, repeat-worthy dining experience.

Extremely delicious & flavourful food. We ordered the fish pakoras, lentil soup, samosas & chat samosas for appetizers. Even the kids ate it all! The flavours were intense without being overpowering. The goat curry, lamb stew with coconut milk & chicken vindaloo were fantastic. We ordered some of the dishes spicy & they hit the mark without making it too intense. Both fried naan & regular naan were really fresh & crispy. The papadams, raita & paalak panneer were great as well. The owners & servers had a lot of patience considering there were a few rowdy kids there that night, & that is always a bonus for the parents. Highly recommended!!!
