I loved the variety of the food, and the prices are reasonable. They have a very affordable dinner for 2 special that , according to the waiter, almost everyone orders. The resto was quite busy so the server forgot a few things but mix ups happen when a place has a lot of people. I would go back in the future.
I liked it. The owners like seeing new clients and the food is prepared well. They are open to making changes without a hassle. The prices are not expensive at all. Anywhere that you can bring your own wine, with parking, is good in my book. The combos are a great value.
Very flavorful and delicious food. All the meat was tender and slow cooked ! I would recommend the chow mein as the do it really well. Goat curry was amazing and the appetizers were delicious. The oxtail was melt in your mouth, You have to go here! Cash only.
Really good food and great atmosphere. The owner is very involved with the clients and take special requests, and uses very high quality food especially their fruit sélections. I think they will be very successful.
The absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Food is old, cold and tasteless. The owners and employees (who knows who the owners are, everyone working there says they are an owner) are immensely rude when you ask for something simple. Every time I eat there it feels like I have taken a bite out of something that is practically frozen that is how cold it is kept. Will never go there again!!!!
Wow wow wow! I went to this place and was amazed at the freshness of the food. The owners are clients of mine and I could tell that they were pleased that I finally came to eat there. It is a Creole- Haitian place that was beyond expectations.
I asked for them to choose a couple of appetizers for me as I wasn't familiar with their menu and they brought me 2 fried dishes that were very savory and crispy, not oily at all. I wish I knew what they were because they were fantastic. One seemed to be potato and the other perhaps fish inside.
I ordered the goat and it was extremely tender which is not always sure to happen at places like this. The rice and gravy that came was delicious and the side of macaroni and salad was fine. The spicy sauce called ''picklies'' was nice and hot and spicy, just what I asked for. The fried plantains were juicy and mouth watering. I couldn't finish my plate and gladly brought the rest home. Can't wait to have it tonight.
They don't have a website but trust me it is an excellent restaurant. Their menu is large and has seafood, chicken, pork, beef and goat as well as a lot of other things I cannot wait to try.
Extremely delicious and flavourful food. We ordered the fish pakoras, lentil soup, samosas and chat samosas for appetizers. Even the kids ate it all! The flavours were intense without being overpowering. The goat curry, lamb stew with coconut milk and chicken vindaloo were fantastic. We ordered some of the dishes spicy and they hit the mark without making it too intense. Both fried naan and regular naan were really fresh and crispy. The papadams, raita and paalak panneer were great as well. The owners and servers had a lot of patience considering there were a few rowdy kids there that night, and that is always a bonus for the parents. Highly recommended!!!
I am usually dissapointed there. Recently had the Mexican wrap...lack of flavour and ingredients. Ceasar wrap plain and tasteless...with mashed potatoes out of a box...come on people. The one thing that surprised me though was the pizza...it is really really good and if you must go there, try it.
Excellent grilled chicken! It's my favourite in the city I just love it with that garlic sauce!
Every time I go here I ask myself how such bland and tasteless food can leave such a garlicky taste in my mouth afterwards....
Unfortunately this restaurant is close to my work so when I don't have time to make something for lunch I end up there, especially in cold weather when it's too freezing to walk any further!
The waitresses are always arguing about something quite loudly or making comments that should not be heard by clients. The food has potential as they have an extensive menu but there is such a lack of flavour...
I went this week and and I really only have great things to say about it. The flavours were really explosive and they brought a fantastic hot sauce on the side. We had the Acras de Morue, the braised half chicken plate with manioc couscous( the best part of the dish) and a fried whole dorade fish served with salad and the most mouth watering plantains as I have never had them before, plump and juicy and very moist. I would say this is the best restaurant I have dined at in a really long time. It's bring your own wine as well and the prices arent cheap but are reasonable.
Excellent pizza, very fresh and reasonably fast delivery. I highly enjoyed the Tony # 2...bacon and onions mmmm.
The absolute best Chinese food I have ever had and really the only place that will challenge me to some SPICY FOOD when I ask for it. Absolutely everything on the menu is fantastic. For a truly authentic Szechuan dinner you must try this place.
Recommended dishes: Cumin beef, Chili chicken, spicy dumplings, sour soup with vermicelli noodles, water boiled beef, cucumber and bean noodle salad, green beans with pork, hot and sour fried nappy cabbage, spicy marinated vegetables and much much more.Just tried the "chilli pepper beef" and it really impressed me...more intense and flavorful than the cumin beef!
Wonderful Indian restaurant with spicy food when requested!
I had a few appetizers to share, notably the fire dosa and 2 others as per the waiters recommendation, palak paneer (spinach and cheese curry), goat vindaloo, lentil dahl and mixed vegetable curry. All exceeded my expectations and offered a genuinely tasty and satisfying meal. Each dish had a different flavor, so you know the chefs arent filling up your plate with the same sauces over and over. Service was a little slow so come prepared to spend a few hours to enjoy each tempting bite.
Great variety of fresh seafood with decent prices. Staff very courteous and knowledgeable.
We ordered calamari and skate wing (fried as suggested by the fishmonger) and shrimps and octopus sauteed with garlic and olive oil. All were excellent but for me the skate wing and octopus shined. Salad and potatoes were also a nice addition to the meal, especially the salad which was very fresh and really well seasoned. Rice wasn't bad but not to my liking, a personal choice I suppose.
Overall I can't wait to go back, hopefully soon!
I wasn't very impressed...very very expensive for what you get and quality....well I thought it was alright. Overall I could go out to other places and be way more satisfied.
Absolutely amazing Chinese/ Szhechuan food. I recommend the soups, cumin beef and especially the cumin lamb, as well as the cucumber and jellyfish salad. Service is great! Also the teas are a great way to finish off the meal.
The food is excellent but the service not as good!!!!
The meat was dry and the soda wasn't as cold as I would have liked it. The service was good but I expected more out of my smoked meat. Oh well, I will stick to Chenoy's.
WOW! Excellent! The food was great, waiters were so friendly, and yeah, sadly the wait was long but it was an experience. The food was rich and surprising, very well thought out.
Foie gras hamburger and pouting were mouth watering and the beet and goat cheese salad was spectacular!
Fresh and tasty, but they use a little too much tempura. Really good service. I will go back for the buffet for sure.
Really good crabs and shrimps on the week end, very affordable buffet for lunch time during the week. General Tao chicken cooked to perfection and a nice variety of soups and vegetables. Highly recommended!
Really interesting, different flavours. They have traditional Egyptian crepes and many other middle eastern dishes, as well as an all you can eat breakfast buffet that they bring to your table. Service is slow but worth the wait. Call to make sure they are open...
Really good paninis and omelettes. I usually order the same things so I can't say much about the rest of the menu! Highly recommended!
Very tasty, too bad they don't have more choices of food...they ONLY make falafels!
