I recently ordered from Kapsalon Montreal through DoorDash, & after they corrected a small mix-up with my original order, I promised I'd leave them a proper review because their customer service was honestly exceptional. Super kind, generous, & professional.
First off: the Classic Burger. Ground beef, cheddar, caramelized onions, arugula, & house sauce. The house sauce leans sweet, so if you're looking for a super heavy savory burger, this may not be your thing - but for me, it was absolutely delicious. Sweet, savory, rich, & really satisfying. Honestly? This burger was BEGGING for bacon. That would take it over the top.
Then the Classic Waffle: crispy chicken filet, red cabbage, cheddar, avocado, & honey mustard. This thing tasted like Thanksgiving dinner inside a waffle in the best possible way. The chicken wasn't crispy by the time it arrived (probably because of the container/steam during delivery), but it was juicy, moist, & incredibly well seasoned. The waffle itself was soft, buttery, & basically melted in my mouth. The red cabbage added a really nice freshness & texture too.
BUT the real star of the show?
The Bueno Milkshake.
I'm not even a milkshake person AT ALL (I'm lactose intolerant & usually avoid them), but they had a 2-for-1 deal on DoorDash & something told me to try it. Babe… this milkshake was INSANE. Creamy, dense, rich chocolate hazelnut flavor, chunks of chocolate throughout, whipped cream, drizzle - it honestly felt halfway between a milkshake & an ice cream dessert. & once the straw stopped working, you could literally eat the rest with a spoon like ice cream. Hands down the best thing I ordered.
Also worth mentioning: the portions are VERY generous. The burger looked smaller in photos but was actually a really solid size, & the waffle portion was huge.
Overall: 9/10.

I love coming here with my husband, every time I come I get the Italian Burger. The sauce + the mozzarella sticks inside, it's genuinely my favorite burger in Montreal I'm constantly craving it lol. The workers are always very kind & we love supporting this restaurant
Le Restaurant Kapsalon propose des portions généreuses & bien garnies, avec des ingrédients frais & savoureux. La viande est tendre, les frites croustillantes & le fromage fondant, le tout relevé par une sauce parfaite. L'ambiance est décontractée & le service rapide & sympathique. Idéal pour un repas copieux & gourmand, je recommande vivement !
The food is absolutely amazing, & the service was great, staff were super nice & helpful!
Chicken was juicy, veggies were fresh, the sauce was to die for.
Have been going here for a while, always have enjoyed the food, place & staff. When coming in today i got a kitkat milkshake & a medium box with kefta both cheeses & 2 sauces! both items were delicious, customer service was amazing as usual, friendly guy & service! Would recommend for a good filling snack, or entrees with friends.

Delicious burgers! Really fresh ingredients, original spin to the burgers, especially with the waffle. Love the sauces & the vegetable toppings. This is now one of my new local favorites!
Kapsalon est devenu mon fast food préféré en un rien de temps ! Le menu est varié, les portions sont généreuses, & les ingrédients sont toujours frais. J'ai goûté leur spécialité Kapsalon, & c'était un régal absolu : des frites croustillantes, une viande bien assaisonnée, & du fromage fondant, le tout agrémenté de salades fraîches & d'une sauce onctueuse. L'accueil est chaleureux & le service rapide, idéal pour un repas sur le pouce sans sacrifier la qualité. Je recommande vivement à tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine rapide ! Vous ne serez pas déçus.
I don't understand why this place is not hyped as other restos. The food was great, I ordered the classic waffle sandwich & it was great, a new concept & new flavours! The chicken was perfectly battered, the fries & sauces super good! Also the waffle was a little sweet but enough to be a good mix with the saltyness of the chicken & cheese! One of my new fav places in town
Le kapsalon est excellent & on sent que ce sont des produits frais. Les burgers sont également bons & très copieux. Les quantites sont généreuses & le personnel très gentil & aimable. Les waffles sont bonnes aussi juste un peu sec, il faudrait un peu plus de sauce Je recommande vivement cette adresse

Cool spot for some unique waffle sandwiches! the chicken, sauce, seasoning & all is delicious. I only found that the waffle was maybe slightly overcooked for my taste but it did not affect the taste too much. Fries are perfect fries in my book: perfect crispiness & saltiness. I personally recommend the spicy cocktail sandwich !
This is a chicken & waffles place, i mean they have other stuff but get the chicken & waffles. I had the spicy one & my friend had the classic one (not spicy); they were both great. The only thing is that maybe the chicken is a bit dry but i mean its still great. It is my first chicken & waffles & i am not disapointed. The sauce & spice combination if perfect, its really not too spicky but you get that kick to enhance the flavors & feel the crunch of the chicken. "the avocado is a great add to the dish" (my friend who had the non spicky waffle) Its a bit expensive but the portions are generous, it might look small in the picture, its not small. Took him about 10/15 min to make our order. Honestly i would give it 4.5 stars if i could. Atmosphere is abscent though.
New type of sandwich with waffle yeah waffles OMG just amazing taste of waffles with beef or chicken best sandwich with the mini salad with melting cheese & meat that you can choose & bunch of sauce that you can pick several ones at a time ! & its a very convenient prices comparing other places just wow guys!! 🤩

Je viens depuis le début & c’est toujours aussi constant.
Le restaurant est propre, la carte est variée, y’en a pour tous les goûts…
Le best seller reste quand même pour moi le spicy cocktail, un poulet pané toujours frais & généreux, des sauces qu’on ne trouve nul part ailleurs, des portions généreuse & l’amabilité de toute l’équipe �

Super bons burger, les saveurs sont différentes de ce qui se propose ailleurs, les sauces sont délicieuses & les frites parfaites. Honnêtement l’un des rares resto aussi satisfaisants a montreal. Le service est aussi tres bien les deux gerants sont tres agreables. si vous avez envie d’un bon burger allez y les yeux fermés.
