I recently ordered from Kapsalon Montreal through DoorDash, & after they corrected a small mix-up with my original order, I promised I'd leave them a proper review because their customer service was honestly exceptional. Super kind, generous, & professional.
First off: the Classic Burger. Ground beef, cheddar, caramelized onions, arugula, & house sauce. The house sauce leans sweet, so if you're looking for a super heavy savory burger, this may not be your thing - but for me, it was absolutely delicious. Sweet, savory, rich, & really satisfying. Honestly? This burger was BEGGING for bacon. That would take it over the top.
Then the Classic Waffle: crispy chicken filet, red cabbage, cheddar, avocado, & honey mustard. This thing tasted like Thanksgiving dinner inside a waffle in the best possible way. The chicken wasn't crispy by the time it arrived (probably because of the container/steam during delivery), but it was juicy, moist, & incredibly well seasoned. The waffle itself was soft, buttery, & basically melted in my mouth. The red cabbage added a really nice freshness & texture too.
BUT the real star of the show?
The Bueno Milkshake.
I'm not even a milkshake person AT ALL (I'm lactose intolerant & usually avoid them), but they had a 2-for-1 deal on DoorDash & something told me to try it. Babe… this milkshake was INSANE. Creamy, dense, rich chocolate hazelnut flavor, chunks of chocolate throughout, whipped cream, drizzle - it honestly felt halfway between a milkshake & an ice cream dessert. & once the straw stopped working, you could literally eat the rest with a spoon like ice cream. Hands down the best thing I ordered.
Also worth mentioning: the portions are VERY generous. The burger looked smaller in photos but was actually a really solid size, & the waffle portion was huge.
Overall: 9/10.

I love coming here with my husband, every time I come I get the Italian Burger. The sauce + the mozzarella sticks inside, it's genuinely my favorite burger in Montreal I'm constantly craving it lol. The workers are always very kind & we love supporting this restaurant

We placed an order on their website for pickup. Arrived home to find that the burger was incorrect, the kapsalon didn't quite match the order, & a can of Coke was missing. If a restaurant offers takeout, I would have expected a bigger effort to make sure that the right items make it into the bag, especially when the restaurant isn't at all busy. There was one other customer & not much of anything else happening.
They did offer to come bring a replacement order but we had hungry kids & it would have been annoying to wait 30+ minutes. Nice gesture, but wasn't going to be an effective fix tonight.
We tried to make the best of what we did get but the burger was truly awful. Very dry, the bun was stale, it had limp mozzarella sticks (the burger we actually ordered read more like a classic double cheeseburger, what we got was a mozzarella stick & pesto situation)… it was just bad so we tossed most of it.
The kapsalon was fine but I wouldn't rush back to have it again. The onion rings didn't have any crunch to them, same as the limp mozzarella sticks that were in the burger.
We had high hopes since it was rated 4.8 on Google but we won't be back.
Luckily my husband picked up McDonald's for one of the kids before heading to Kapsalon & he had ordered an extra 10 McNuggets. They were the best part of our meal tonight.
This restaurant engages in fraudulent Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offers on Uber Eats. Their classic burger is listed for $14.25 CAD, & their'BURGER CLASSIQUE TRIO 2*' BOGO offer is listed for $29.99 CAD. However, to actually get a trio with this promotional offer, you must pay an additional 5.5 CAD **per burger**, (11 CAD, since Uber Eats charges per item) more for the'TRIO' option. This would bring your total to a generous $40.98 for two trios, instead of $70.98 CAD, which is the number the app shows as crossed out. In reality, Kapsalon is selling you two burger trios for 20.5 CAD each.
This is a predatory practice from a fast-food restaurant when margins are already higher than in a fine-dining establishment. Kapsalon takes advantage of hungry people in a recession. To the owner: photo & video evidence has been taken.
To everyone else: if Kapsalon is ready to overcharge you so dishonestly, what else are they doing with your food? This is a flagrant scam. Avoid.

This restaurant has everything that i love, chicken & waffles, amazing'notbasic' burgers & sweet potato fries 🥰 Everytime I eat here my stomach & taste buds are satisfied. I decided to try a different menu item at each visit & so far so good, i love it all. Thank you! & shout out to Asma (i hope i spelled it right), she's the sweetest, always smiling & always polite & respectful.
