Sooo good! Food was delicious, staff were super nice & helpful, & the restaurant itself is beautiful with great vibes. Everything we got was amazing, but I especially recommend the griot & pork shank. Note about the pork shank though-it says to share for 2 but it's a big portion & quite rich (hard to tell from the picture). I think it's good to share between 3-4 people if you get some tapas as well. Loved this place!!
Je n'ai jamais aussi bien mangé. Tout y était ! Le goût & les saveurs de chez nous mêlés aux accents & aux épices d'ailleurs! C'était fin, délicieux... Chaque bouchée de tapas révélait l'art, le talent & la maîtrise du chef ! Un immense bravo!

J'aime beaucoup aller au Kamúy. J'ai aussi fait découvrir ce resto à des ami(e)s. Ma remarque est que le contenu des assiettes de tapas est maintenant moindre. De plus, j'ai noté une proportion plus élevée que d'habitude de morceaux de gras avec le griot (donc moins de viande). Ce sont de petits détails qui, j'en suis certaine, pourront être rapidement corrigés.

Un service hors-paire! Notre serveur nous a recommandé plusieurs plats style tapas à partager afin que nous puissions goûter la variété de saveurs carrabéenne. Tout était vraiment exquis! À recommander fortement & nous retournerons certainement

J'ai apprécié mon expérience gastronomique chez Kamuy ont a commencé avec un tapas de fritay qui était bien assaisonné. Le poisson est a essayer c'était délicieux & les côtés levé étaient excellentes par contre salade de choux avec beaucoup trop de vinaigre de se fait impossible a manger. Ont accompagné nos repas avec un drink au gingembre très bon pour les personnes qui aime les cocktail pas sucré & pour les personnes qui aime avoir un petit goût un peu plus sucré je propose le cocktail a la lime & sirop hibiscus.
Whole thing was about average. Service was overall fine but food was lukewarm. Seating was beside bar with coffee grinder right behind our heads so quite unpleasant. It was busy & music fairly loud so very hard to talk. Chairs are not that comfortable inside. I had the option to sit on bench with cushions & regret not taking it. Of course as with everything these days food seems overpriced. For the Griot dish the pork was overcooked so bit dry & tough but flavour was good. Very spare on the accompanying veggies - "sauerkraut" side was so acidic it made me choke (& I love sauerkraut) & only a few thin slices of sauteed onions & peppers. It seemed a little chintzy. The fired plaintain were tasty but again cold so texture bit rubbery. The Gratin Lambi wasn't hot enough so cream was starting to congeal & there was some fish in there besides lambi which felt like "Filler". We were there early around 5:30 PM so not sure why everything was cold. The grilled fish as main dish was better than the tapas but super thin filet (whole fish not half thankfully) but sauce was very tasty but again lukewarm. The best part of all these dishes was the malanga puree accompanying the fish. Still lukewarm but it was great flavour & texture & went surprisingly well with fish. I may go there again just because of convenient location if you are catching show at Maison Symphonique. Too bad I was looking forward to finding a great Carribbean place & tasting the food of the much praised chef Toussaint.
Manque de constance flagrant après deux soupers en quelques jours. La laitue était fatiguée. Le poulet Jerk servi avec un bol de riz avec haricots était correct, mais manquait de subtilité. Le saumon manquait de cuisson & était froid. On est loin de la gastronomie attendue pour ce genre d'endroit. Le menu sur place le 3 juillet était beaucoup plus restreint (4 plats) que celui sur le site Web (7 plats & 9 tapas) ou celui du 29 juin. Le service était ordinaire. Les installations sanitaires frôlaient l'insalubrité. Une refonte rigoureuse des processus s'impose.

Emplacement agréable sur la place des spectacles. Menu de cocktail intéressant. Les cocktails fut délicieux. Les tapas étaient très bonnes. Nos plats principaux étaient très ordinaires. Le jerk chicken était un simple demi poulet cournoille servi avec un petit goblet de sauce & riz à part + quelques légumes. Le jambalaya à 45$ était un peu sec sans grande saveure. Le service fut était très bien.

Belle expérience gastronomique. Le personnel est chaleureux & accueillant, ambiance agréable. J'ai pris 2 tapas chiquetaille & fritay. Les seuls bémols c'est qu'un peu de pikliz en à côté aurait été un gros plus.
Très belle soirée passée au Kamuy! Personnel gentil & attentionné, délicieux cocktails & tapas, ambiance de vacances! C'est comme être dans les iles en ville
We took 5 tapas & 1 dessertt to share & it was perfect. Food was all great. Wine list is very nice with choices from 55$ per bottle. They also offer by the glass. Service was good. Overall excellent. I would 100% recommend
