Un excellent buffet pour un prix des plus raisonnable. 25$ taxes incluses? Sérieusement, c'est très bien. Je retrouve la nourriture chinoise commerciale nord-américaine (egg rolls, wonton, riz frit, spare ribs, poulet à l'ananas...) mais pas que. Belle variété, bar à salades, café, thé, jus fruités inclus? L'ambiance est calme & agréable, personnel discret. J'ai vraiment été agréablement surpris. Super! Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander ou à y retourner.
For that kind of money (25$ tx in.), when you go at lunch or dinner time, not in between meals, food is fresh & tasty. Lots to choose from. Would recommend during meal hours

Je vous écris afin de déposer officiellement une plainte grave concernant le traitement inacceptable que j'ai reçu au Restaurant Jade, dans le quartier chinois de Montréal, lors de ma visite vers 16 h 57.
Après être entré dans le restaurant, je me suis renseigné sur le buffet, j'ai payé mon repas & j'avais l'intention de manger sur place. La serveuse, dont j'ai compris que le nom était Micky, ne m'a pas accueilli & m'a dirigé vers une table que je ne souhaitais pas utiliser. Je lui ai poliment indiqué que je préférais une table près de la fenêtre. Au lieu de répondre de manière professionnelle, elle s'est immédiatement montrée agacée, m'a jeté mon reçu au visage & m'a dit : « Allez ailleurs. »
J'ai été choqué par son hostilité & j'ai immédiatement demandé à parler à un responsable. Elle a refusé de m'en fournir un. Je suis alors retourné à l'accueil & j'ai fait part de mes préoccupations au monsieur âgé qui y travaillait, mais aucune mesure concrète n'a été prise pour régler la situation ou corriger le comportement de l'employée.
Je me suis ensuite installé à une table libre près de la fenêtre & j'ai laissé le reçu rouge sur la table. Mme Micky s'est immédiatement approchée, a pris le reçu & l'a jeté à la poubelle. Je lui ai indiqué que son comportement serait signalé.
Malgré le fait que je sois resté dans le restaurant pour y manger, j'ai été complètement ignoré pendant tout mon repas. Elle n'est jamais venue à ma table pour m'offrir de l'eau ni pour fournir le moindre service à la clientèle de base. J'ai été traité sans dignité, sans respect & sans professionnalisme.
Je suis profondément troublé & écoeuré par le traitement que j'ai reçu. C'était ma première visite à Montréal &, bien que la ville m'ait par ailleurs laissé une impression positive, cette expérience au Restaurant Jade a été l'une des pires expériences de service à la clientèle que j'aie jamais vécues. Je me suis senti mal à l'aise, indésirable & traité injustement.
Le propriétaire de cet établissement devrait avoir honte qu'un employé soit autorisé à traiter des clients payants d'une manière aussi irrespectueuse & non professionnelle. Je m'attends à ce que cette plainte soit prise au sérieux, fasse l'objet d'une enquête approfondie & donne lieu à des mesures correctives appropriées afin qu'aucun autre client ne soit soumis à un comportement aussi inacceptable.
I always come to the takeout counter here…the staff is so sweet & friendly & the food is always good. I've been coming here for bao buns since i was in high school & I'm 30 now & still coming back. I've never gone to the restaurant area only the takeout counter. I love the sautéed beef noodles with extra broccoli & the hotdog bun
This place used to be good Chinese buffet I was in town & I decided to visit & eat some Chinese food bu big disappointment what is this nothing to eat oh my lord I got embrace in front of my family there was absolutely no sea food no fish no anything no dessert no vegetables nothing nothing nothings it's a horrible place even for free I don't recommend & if I can I will put 0 star I don't know who's the owner or management my suggestions is either you close this place or adjust your prices & present proper food as before
My family & I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening hoping for a great buffet experience while visiting from out of town. Unfortunately, it was far from what we expected. My husband-who truly never complains about food-had plenty to say by the end of the meal.
Most of the dishes were dry & lacked flavour. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the pizza, which is a strange highlight at a Chinese buffet. At one point, my husband even asked the hostess when the best time to come would be if we wanted fresher food. Her answer:'the weekend.' Not exactly reassuring.
Another red flag: you're required to pay before being seated. That alone says a lot about the confidence they have in the dining experience.
Take this information as you will, but personally, I'd save the $25 per person & choose another spot.
The worst Chinese food I've ever had, I expected better being in Chinatown, understand why they get you to pay when you walk in. Price was good for a buffet but poor for the quality. I will say the rice & ribs were decent. Our table of 5 had so much food left on our plates I felt bad for the waste but we just couldn't eat it. We went up a 2nd time to try to find something good & to eat something for our money.
