Overall, Luna is praised for delicious and authentic Korean flavors, generous portions in many dishes, and a warm, intimate atmosphere with friendly, attentive service; the experience is enhanced by tasting menus like the full moon or demi lune and by a bring-your-own-wine policy, though a few reviews note small portions for the price, occasional confusion about vegan options, and a noisy, crowded dining room, yet it is repeatedly described as a standout in Montreal and a place many would return to.
Had high hopes as the atmosphere was nice & the staff was friendly.
However, was extremely disappointed eating here. It's catered towards Westerners that don't eat Korean food & is very overpriced for what it is. The menu was confusing. There was also Korean bbq on the menu (& mentioned in the restaurant name) but it's not authentic Korean bbq, more like a bulgogi you might get in a food court.
The worst part is that 4/7 of my group got diarrhea or upset stomachs after eating here.
I would avoid going here because specially if you are used to eating authentic Korean food.
One of the best Korean places I've ever visited!!!! Just outstanding food, super observant service & good recommendations. We had quite a few dishes & every time it surpassed the other, ended with just super delicious Matcha Mochi which can't be missed!!!! 2000% would be visiting again whenever in Montreal!!!!

Seul petit commentaire :) améliorez vos verres à vin… amener des bouteilles à 150$ & boire dans un verre style dollorama c'est pas top.
Service exceptionnel & nourriture excellente ! Le personnel est attentionné & chaleureux, & chaque plat était savoureux & bien présenté. Le restaurant est accueillant, joliment décoré, & l'ambiance y est très agréable. Une belle découverte que je recommande sans hésiter !

Fantastic dinner. We did the Menu Demi-Lune (Half Moon) - 3 appetizers to share between the two of us, & two mains. Every bite was flawless & presentation was lovely. Perfect amount of food for two. We brought a bottle of wine & enjoyed the ambiance. Would absolutely return
