Everything we had there was amazing. We've been going for a decade & the quality is still too notch. Every visitor we have to Montreal, we bring to Luna.
Had my best meal in Montreal. The food was excellent & the service was a pure pleasure. I enjoyed every minute of my evening. Thank you!
Posted hours are 10.30 pm but the kitchen closes at 9.30 pm. Same drama everytime. Never stepping foot in here....
I remember this restaurant 4 years ago. The service was rough & awkward. The food is not really Korean. It's westernized Korean food where they added too much sugar in everything. Never really understood why people wanted to go here & spend 60 dollars. I went here because of a friend who was French & left a bit disappointed.
Not worth it in my opinion (there just wasn't anything amazing about it), but I thought maybe they changed from 4 years ago.
Seeing the photos, I guess not. They are doing great branding & framing tho.
The price & the quality is just poor . $12.99 for 3 small dumplings is unreal . Bulgogi quality was quite low as well . Way better Korean restaurants out there .
Had kimchi bibimbap there which was recommend by the lovely server. Not only he gave great recommendation he also did a small demo on how to eat certain dish which blew my mind. Very great tasting experience. The bibimbap was hot until i was at the end of the hot pot. Just loved it. The matcha mochi just melted in my mouth.
We had a pregnant friend with us so they made sure what she can have & cannot. That was just cherry on top.
Must visit.
Tasting menu was good but did not blow my mind. Loved: the porc kbbq, salmon sashimi wrapped in pickled radish, the green tea mochi. The rest was pretty meh & I am a Korean food lover. Staff was friendly & it's a cute enough spot!
Take this review with a grain of salt : I am someone that eats all kinds of Korean food every week for the past 10-12 years in Montreal (homemade & restaurant quality) so my opinion is pretty subjective as a Korean food lover. I also got this restaurant recommanded a bunch on my end.
We took the Full moon menu : I would suggest this to someone who never ate Korean food before or that want a little bit of everything. It was good, don't get me wrong ! But will i come back, even with the price, or for the meal quality ? Probably not. It was not exceptional, & with the arays of korean food in Montreal, especially in 2026, you can get similar food for cheaper or more accessible options.
Service was really nice, & the atmosphere was good, just wish double tables were more separated instead of having a panel in between.
Nice small restaurant, service is fast on the weekend for the tasting menu & staff is welcoming. The entrees were top especially the chicken one, & main dishes were good.
