The best crab cake I've ever had.
Beef tartare had the perfect (non-overwhelming) amount of truffle. The salmon confit was perfectly cooked with a delicious beurre blanc sauce. Great view on the terrace.

Sur papier, le restaurant a l'air vraiment bien. En réalité, c'est une toute autre chose. Le prix des assiettes versus la qualité laisse grandement à désirer. Sur environ 5 assiettes proposés, il en manque 2. Assiette de charcuterie était bonne. Le burger au boeuf waygyu était le pire burger que j'ai mangé de ma vie. La viande était ok mais le burger vide. Le tartare de boeuf était correct mais l'assiette était vide. Portion entrée pour un repas principal. Le restaurant vante leur mayonnaise maison, qui est en réalité tellement grasse & ressemble à de la margarine. En sommes, nous ne recommandons pas ce restaurant.

J'ai lu quelques critiques avant de réserver chez Canons! Malgré le fait que le resto/bar à vin se présente comme un endroit qui offre une cuisine du marché aux goûts francs & généreux, nous n'avons pas été convaincus. La cuisson de la nourriture (pieuvre, tartare, guédille de crevettes, cornouaille qui avec vin est assortie d'une facture de 215$) était bien mais les saveurs au goût'généreux' n'y étaient pas. La carte des vins est bien mais ne contient pas autant de vins d'importation privée qu'anticipé. De plus, notre premier choix de vin n'était pas disponible. Donc, le rapport saveur/qualité/prix obtenu nous incitera à faire l'essai d'un endroit différent à la prochaine occasion.

Belle découverte, le service est personnalisé & très attentionné. Excellente sélection de vins & bons conseils(excellent bordeaux). La nourriture(croûtons tellagio & burrata, burger & tartare) est délicieuse & nous avons apprécié être au bar où tout le personnel prenait soin de nous. Nous avions un groupe très bruyant derrière nous, mais cela n'a pas empêché d'apprécier notre soirée. Nous reviendrons!
