Finally found a good place for Nasi Lemak in Montreal! We took the Nasi Lemak, Rendang Ayam Beef & the Chicken Noodles & they were all delicious! The hospitality we got from the owners was amazing, they were so nice to us. Honestly, it's totally worth it to go support them, good food & good people! We'll be back for sure! ❤?
This is a small casual eatery. Malay dishes & some Malay style South Indian. It's tasty & a different experience for me. I like South Indian & this is similar but with a twist. Example a nice touch to include fried anchovy in the veggies. The chicken 65 & the Saturday special plate was really good. Portions are good. Chicken roll delicious & less spicy than in some Sri Lankan restaurants. Generally this is spicy food but manageable.. & can't wait to try the nasi lemak.

Unassuming, hole in the wall restaurant. Nasi lemak didn't disappoint. Sambal legit. Two good size chicken (2 drum 1 thigh), generous ikan billis, 1 egg, peanuts, cucumber & the coconut rice. So big plate even my teenage son couldn't finish. Totally worth the $19.95cad. In the states, it would be US$20 with half an egg, only 1 piece of meat & maybe 2-3 slices of cucumber, & half the ikan billis & nuts.
For nut allergy, they can put the nuts on the side.
Next time, we'll order 1 nasi lemak plus extra meat that would be enough for two persons.
Actually next time, we'll try the rendang.
Was lucky to grab a parking spot. Not the place to impress your date but otherwise the food is so good.
A gem in Parc-Ex!
This was a truly beautiful culinary discovery.
The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with love. We took the Chicken Noodles & Nasi Lemak (highly recommended). As you can see, we completely devoured our dishes!
The owner & his wife, who run the restaurant, provided a warm & welcoming service. They took the time to guide us through the menu & give us great recommendations.
You truly sense the passion behind every dish. I highly recommend this spot & will absolutely be coming back.
A true must-try!!!
I got the Saturday special & the chicken 65 for entrée. I think the highlight of the dish is the chicken 65 which is also in the Saturday special, you get a lot of different flavors in 1 dish. There's fish, shrimps, chicken curry, vegetables & fried chicken. The portion is really good for the price! I'm definitely coming back to try something else because I'm not the biggest fan of seafood but I think someone who likes shrimp would enjoy this dish.
The 4.8 score does not lie. This is perhaps one of the most underrated spots in town. This restaurant seriously serves some of the tastiest dishes you'll ever have in Montreal. I've eaten here three times now & I'm hooked on their chicken noodles dish. Fresh, crispy vegetables, tasty chicken, perfect noodles & a generous portion. Canada Best is mos def the best of Canada.👌🏽
