Creme de La Creme of boutique hotels in Montreal. Two blocks from Old Montreal & Notre Dame. The service here is amazing, & the rooms spotless. Room 540 is the best of the best, & feels like an apartment with an amazing patio. They were kind to upgrade us, as this is a very special trip for my daughter who is sick with brain cancer. Her wish was to see Montreal & Quebec City at Christmas. We are very glad we chose Gault Hotel. Merci!!

Convenient & attractive neighbourhood to explore old Montreal. However, the entry level rooms (studio loft) are quite disappointing for the price point. Very dark (limited window area), small & sparsely decorated/furnished.

Perhaps the larger & more expensive rooms are better but I can't justify $4-500 / night on location alone. Staff were nice enough.

Our first time at Hôtel Gault .... it was such a great experience in every way - we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Montréal. All staff members were super-friendly & professional. The facilities reflected that creative & attractive blend of new modern with old elegance that we appreciated in all of Montréal. Almost hesitating to rave about the hotel because we want to be sure that it doesn't get so popular that there are no rooms left when we want to return :).
