Un des meilleurs restaurant déjeuner que je connais. L'ambiance y est pour beaucoup, quel endroit fabuleux. Il faut prévoir de l'attente, il y a beaucoup d'intérêt pour ce restaurant. L'espace d'attente est très conviviale & on peut boire café (gratuit), minosa ($). Le menu est orienté sur les produits du terroir & artisanaux. Ce n'est pas plus dispendieux que de manger dans des chaînes de restaurant à déjeuner, mais oh combien plus satisfaisant. Un bel endroit à découvrir.Voir plus

Again, another iconic Montreal/up north restaurant that's been around for decades with a rich local French Canadian history. This place burned down at least once in aware of & was rebuilt & then towards the end of covid they also renovated & I think expanded as well. The atmosphere is a cozy Canadians country house feel, & waiting for a table is awesome as the have unlimited coffee & hot chocolate & a big open hearth fire pit & Adirondack seating. Once inside it's just as lovely & window seating gives views of the Laurention mountains as well - beautiful in the winter & fall. The specialy for lunch & dinner is the infamous home made porc sandwiches & that amazing porc & beans with maple syrup & fresh crusty bread. Add a soup & you have a meal just a soup & beans or soup & sandwich. Fries are nothing to speak about as they are standard frozen French fries. This place has an exception breakfast & brunch menue that includes options of mounds of bacon, homemade preserves, homemade crusty bread, homemade beans (mentioned above), & the house specialty would be "Ogre" at a bit over $15.00 Canadian plus tax & tip. This is an excellent place to go as an "Après ski" & you will often see people in their snow gear where stranger often share their experiences amongst each other as it's a very friendly environment. All credit cards accepted & super kid friendly with a kids menue too. If you're going on a weekend for breakfast or brunch, an institution for this meal, go very very early as they are likely going to have a line. They don't take reservations unless it's a large group I think but do check yourself. I've lived this place since childhood & it's always a treat to eat there & enjoy the amazing environment as well as a lovely drive up north if specifically coming from Montreal.Voir plus

Très belle ambiance!!! Sauf le prix 53$ pour 2 personnes. Exagérer comme prix. La serveuse m'offre un jus d'orange. Je dis oui mais m'a chargé le gros prix de 5,95. Je lui demande pourquoi & me dit que le jus d'orange venant avec mon déjeunée était beaucoup plus petit (Bein je l'aurais prix). & me dit qu'elle n'a pas chargé le café de mon copain qui lui n'avait pas avec un café. Donc à l'accueil il y a café gratuit, c'est super mais une fois assis le café ne vient pas avec le menu. Bizarre!Voir plus
