Absolutely delicious food, Sylvie the server was very nice & the pricing was great!
This is a year round sugar shack kind of restaurant & it did not disappoint!!! They make everything in house & you do not want to miss out on the homemade bread & strawberry jam, it was so good we brought some home with us.
The vibe is logcabin rustic & the food is Quebec...
We had eggs, bacon, maple ham (yummy), homemade bread with strawberry jam (even more yummy & HUGE) & homefry potatoes (super yummy). Overall everything was just a joy to discover & our server made it even more enjoyable.
This will be our go to place for breakfast in the area. Ask for Sylvie!
A beautiful place with a cozy & relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly & made us feel very welcome.
The food was decent, but I don't think it quite matched the price. That said, it's important to remember this is primarily a breakfast restaurant, so it's more about the experience & ambiance than gourmet dining.
I'd definitely come back again, especially in the winter-the atmosphere must be even more magical during the snowy season.
Service a la porte pas satisfait nous font attendre & laisse passer autre client privilégié
A wonderfully Canadian experience featuring a classic Quebec menu & atmosphere. Expect to wait, but there are nice indoor & outdoor spaces for waiting, complete with complimentary coffee & hot cocoa by the fire.
What a surprise! We taught we were going to eat in a family own little spot. Turns out it's a big & well organized - & run - institution. The place is very big & they offer traditional French Canadian style breakfast & lunch options. Don't expect avocado toast here, but enjoy variations of bacon & eggs breakfast, crepes & waffles or the sugar Shack experience.
Is the food good ? Absolutely! Feels & taste like everything is made in house & definitely has that homemade feel & taste.
The service is as good as the food : efficient, friendly & polite.
The only down side is that you can't reserve a table. But there is plenty of place to sit - by the fire! - & coffee available while you wait for your table.
Plates are a tiny bit expensive but the huge portions make up for it. & when everything is good & pleasant, we left feeling like it was worth the money & the wait.
We will come again
Reviews dont lie, food is excellent. Eggs Benedict sitting on the ham & hashbrown was deadly.
Excellente expérience tant au niveau culinaire que client. Service impeccable, portions généreuses. Prix en adéquation avec la qualité des plats.
