There was about half the amount of meat compared to last summer. Was honestly very disappointed with the lowering of quality
One of the best sandwiches in the plateau area. What makes it so special is the bread. It is so fresh & unique & flavorful. I could just eat the bread. But of course, the meat & the toppings & the different sauces make it so much better.
This fried chicken Caesar sandwich?
Buddy… this thing slaps you in the face & says wake up.
You ever bite into something & just go quiet for a second? That's this wrap.
The chicken crispy like it's got something to prove. Not soggy, not pretending. Real crunch. Real deal. Like it just came out of a fryer that respects itself.
Then you got that Caesar garlicky, creamy, a little punchy. Not shy. This isn't some watered-down mall food court nonsense. This is a Caesar that's been through something.
Lettuce? Fresh. Actually fresh. Not that sad, limp garbage. This has snap. This has life.
Wrap it all up tight, no mess, no excuses. Every bite hits. No dead zones. No'just bread' moments. Respect.
Honestly?
This thing feels like someone in the kitchen gives a damn. & that's rare.
Would I eat it again?
Yeah.
Would I fight someone over the last one?
…depends how hungry I am, but it's not off the table.
Decent sandwhich, not great. Fresh ingredients & good balance. However the flavour is lacking, the lettuce should have dressing on it. The bread definitely needs improvement, its too crusty & dry. The vibe & decor inside is nice. If they fix the bread & add seasoning & dressing to the veggies, it has potential to be a top sandwhich spot in montreal, but for now, Bossa is still king.
Decent sandwich, except the bread was definitely not fresh. The person manning the counter called the orders / names out in a very quiet voice & let your sandwich just sit on the counter when you didn't hear them. In my opinion, they did a poor job at this very simple task.
But the sandwich is still good, in spite of the hard/old bread. Worth a visit if you're around, but not worth a dedicated trip.
I loved my experience here. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich & it was delicious. I love the bread they use, it's firm enough to make the sandwich easier to eat, but not too hard. They also used enough sauce, I hate I dry sandwich & this was not that. The atmosphere is great, love the cute retro vibe & they even have merch which is really cool. Thanks for the awesome lunch guys, I'll be back.
Worst sandwich bread I've ever had. Bread breaks after 2 bites & falls apart. Had a porchetta sandwich. Porchetta was also bland. Not going back
Honestly, great food & good vibes from the staff.
Are the sandwiches on the pricier side? Yeah, of course. But they're absolutely worth it. It's a good treat every now & then. They're absolutely packed with good quality ingredients.
The staff here are super friendly. I highly recommend trying this place out.
9/10 sandwiches. Not a perfect rating because we've come a few times & they ran out of bread. Can even be used as a blunt weapon.
This place kind of reminded me of BOSSA in Verdun. Different vibe & sandwich options though. I ordered the Turkey Club & it was gooooood. The sandwich was hefty, filled with delicious fresh ingredients. & the bread was really nice too! Crunchy crust with a nice soft body. As Arnie said,'I'll be back!'
This is hands down the best sandwich in Montreal (apologies to the other greats). The service is quick, the bread is incredible & the sandwiches are jam packed. You will leave full & very happy. Do not miss this spot.
