I went to have dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday night, trying to find a hidden gem in Pointe Claire close to the lake & we
end up to this place.
Pros:
Small place & very intimate.
We liked that the chef comes & brings the food on your table when they serve it.
The kitchen is just behind the bar & you could watch the chef while they cook your food.

Cons:
We find that the main courses were lacking of taste & portion were too small for its price. The grilled octopus was over cooked & missing some spices. The rotolo tastes better although my boyfriend finds the sauce a bit bitter. Also, there was no salt & pepper either on the table or offered. Our server forgot the water when she told us that she'll give it after serving our cocktail drinks but we understand that she's alone serving for everybody in the restaurant. The strawberry spritz cocktail was too bitter for me.

We would love to recommend the restaurant but I think it needs more improvement of the food & service.

Run don't walk to this quaint little spot that offers quality & fresh ingredient menu choices that are absolutely delicious . Hans was absolutely amazing & helped us chose the perfect cocktails & menu .
We had the summer salad & it was perfectly dressed & the fresh focaccia . Followed by the bucatini with shrimp & the grilled octopus was perfect .
What a surprise to have such quality food in the west island !!! Bravo 👏
We will def be back .

Super delish! I loved the saganaki & octopus. Extensive wine list & cool cocktail menu. The service was wonderful - I would recommend to anyone in the neighborhood :)

Very cute & cozy place for tasty food! WAW I'm happy to see new great restaurants being added to the West Island. This is a very small restaurant, but cozy & friendly service. The food is prepared before your eyes, reasonable price & portion size. I enjoyed the cocktail as well. I recommend!

My friends & I had a great experience at Rendez-Vous last night! I got the French Coffee cocktail & the octopus main dish (excuse the blurry picture lol!). Both were very good. Inside the restaurant is small but the atmosphere is nice. The servers were very friendly & provided quick service. Overall a nice addition to Pointe Claire Village!

Loved the atmosphere, food & cocktails. The bartender, Daniel, was amazing & a great conversationalist. Highly recommend for date nights.

Great place for a date in the West Island! Food was very good, we got the oysters that were amazing! Loved the octopus plate as well. Wine was great. I would like service to be a little more present & proactive with the menu explanations & wine service but everyone was very nice. Cocktail list needs something on the sweeter/fruity side
