Had a lovely time on their terrace for dinner. Our waiter was very welcoming & attentive. We had the murg methi malai, which was to die for, the paneer lababdar & some garlic naan. For dessert we had the paan kulfi which was equally amazing. This was definitely the best Indian food I've had in a long time. Will be coming back!
We had really high hopes for this restaurant. Everyone in our party has eaten in Indian restaurants all over the US, so we know what to expect & we love Indian food. About the atmosphere-it was really hot inside & there were flies flying around. It was so hot that when our food came, we had very little appetite. The service was fine - dirty plates left for too long, but our requests were addressed fine. Now for the food-it's pretty average Indian fare. The food I would probably rate a 4. Same quality as we would expect at a decent Indian restaurant (when we were expecting one of the best Indian restaurants based on prior reviews). Oh well. The one unexpected pleasant surprise - the drinks (non-alcoholic & alcoholic) were really creative & delish.
The restaurant owner himself called regarding a wrong order delivered by Uber twice & refunded me for the order & then resent the order again. Food is very good.

Superbe endroit ! Je suis allé visiter ce restaurant pour un souper en famille (10 personnes). Nous avons laissé le serveur choisir nos plats, & je dois dire que tout était absolument délicieux. Le service était toujours souriant, & les plats, chauds, avec des combinaisons d'épices superbes. Je recommande 10/10!
I am very passionate about this being the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. When we walked in, they said it was reservation only & that we wouldn't be able to come in. But, we were quickly accommodated & sat down at a table when they were full for the night. The staff was extremely welcoming & the chef himself even asked us how the food was. Now, to the food. One consistent issue I have run into with Indian restaurants is that they don't have enough vegetarian options, or the vegetarian food is extremely subpar compared to non-veg options. They KNOCKED it out of the park with the food here. Everything tasted extremely fresh & authentic, & was the perfect combination of spicy & flavorful. The Naan & Roti was extremely good, & perfectly complemented the curry we got which was the Paneer Lababdar, the Veg Kohlapuri & the Dal Makhani. This place was worth the whole trip to Montreal, coming all the way from Maryland, USA. I highly praise the staff & the chef for being amazing & wonderful. I am happy to say this is the best Indian restaurant in North America, & highly recommend this place to anyone that visits Montreal.
Outstanding! We've eaten Indian cuisine all over world (including Indian) & the quality of the food at Rendez-vous Bistro is among the very best. Outdoor dining is offered, & highly recommend. Waitstaff is attentive, charming & generous. Veggie/vegan options are plentiful. We even got to meet the chefs, a real treat. It is very obvious they love what they do, you can taste it!
Had an incredible meal at this amazing restaurant in Montreal. The chef personally asked about our preferences, & each dish was perfectly tailored to our taste. The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine with a personalized touch!
Wow, this place serves the best Indian food I've ever had! Every bite was a delightful experience. A MUST try is their PAAN ICE-CREAM for dessert; it was simply amazing & so flavourful.
Very good food (butter chicken & achari bangain) & very good service. They made us try a new recipe (kind of baklava naan) on the house, it was delicious
