A friend of mine made the reservation at Régine Café for me & one of my friends. As we were from out-of-town my friend though we would enjoy brunch at her neighbourhood café. We were first extremely impressed by the atmosphere as it was extremely inviting, & buzzing with positive atmosphere. Our waiter was extremely attentive to our needs to describe dishes, & was very receptive to our need to speak English as my friend does not speak French. When our meals arrived they were artfully displayed on the plates with care, & they were more delicious than they appeared. The staff & chef took care to learn of patron's allergies, & took all necessary care to make certain the food was free of these allergens. We ordered dishes with smoked salmon, along with various types of coffee. The restaurant offers home made juice made on the premises. We tried one juice made of a mixture of orange, mango juices & basil - delicious does not described this beverage. I am still craving the juice we had, & wish I lived closer so I could have some every morning. Before leaving Montréal, my friend & I attempted to return to Régine Café for lunch. To our disappointment, & to the popularity of the restaurant, there was a long line & we could not wait. If you visit Montréal make reservations at Régine Café & treat yourself to a feel of a Paris café in Montréal. You definitely will not be disappointed.
