After a long bus tour, we were alighted at the China town gates, the tour guide recommendedstopto go into China Town. As we entered, Mai Xiang dumplings caught our eye. The staff was welcoming, & we sat & ordered Hot & Sour Soup, pan friend lamb, & pork dumplings. The soup was very good & so were the dumplings. Service was excellent.View more

Vous avez envie de manger des Dumplings Chinois? Je vous recommande ce resto Mai Xiang Yuan. Il a de toutes les sortes dumplings bouillis, frits & cuits @ la vapeur. La soupe @ l'aigre-douce n'est pas la meilleure mais c'est bien pour debuter votre repas. Les entrees salade aux concombres & aux algues se sont mes preferees. Je vous recommande le plat classique dumplings au porc hache & batchoy bouillis, dumplings poulet aux champignons, dumplings porc hache avec ciboulettes frits & dumplings xiaolung bat porc hache & batchoy. Noubliez pas d'ajouter la sauce maison vinaigrette & piquante du resto @ vos dumplings. Vous devez aller avec un petit groupe de 4 @ 6 personnes comme ca vous pouvez deguster differents plats de dumplings du menu. Je vous garantie que vous allez adorer votre experience. Le prix est raisonable & c'est le moins chers en ville. Chaque morceau de dumpling etait bien farci avec une portion genereuse de viande & des legumes. Vous devez venir y gouter & decouvrir vous memee @ quel point c'est bon! N'oublie pas d'apportez de l'argent comptant car il n'accepte pas de carte de credit. The dumplings were decent, but not particularly memorable. Presentation was pretty standard, nothing to write home about, & while the portion size was reasonable , it didn't quite make up for the overall lack of wow factor. If you're craving dumplings, they'll satisfy you, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary. Also, this is a Cash only establishment.View more

I didn't see it written anywhere on the storefront but this is a cash only place. There is an ATM just inside which may be used if necessary. The service was good. The tables are spaced enough to have a fair amount of room & not feel too cramped like some other restaurants in the area. I got the seared chicken & cilantro dumplings at the suggestion of the staff. The dumplings were good but I wish I got the steamed dumplings instead. The seared dumplings had good texture but I had trouble tasting the filling over the flavor from the sear. I'll try this place again for sure.View more

My wife & I enjoyed a nice lunch at Mai Xiang Yuan Dumpling. She ordered the boiled dumplings. I ordered the fried. We both got the wonton soup. The service, atmosphere & food were all great. Only challenge that they are cash only (has an ATM in the entrance). I'd definitely go here again!View more

Par les bas prix, le très bon goût & la rapidité du service. 28$ tx incluses pour 15 dumplings au porc, 2 salades de concombres & 4 raviolis à l'arachide c'est tellement un bon prix! Je vais y retourner c'est sur. Le seul hic c'est que c'est argent comptant seulement, mais il y a une machine ATM à l'entrée du resto.View more

Delicious, flavourful & reasonably priced dumplings with vegetarian options. We had steamed & fried dumplings & both were really good depending on your preference. We found the lunch menu had a lot of missing items compared to what was online, but there were still lots to choose from though not many vegetarian options.View more

They have real Northern China dumplings. I am from Northern China. The dumplings here taste better than what my grandma made. Price is very reasonable, only 10-15 dollars for a dish of dumplings, which were all hand made I believe. Strongly recommend.View more
