Ramen Isshin Pointe-Claire Restaurant: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
RamenJapaneseAsianGrillVegetarianSoupsResto-Bar

Ramen Isshin means One Heart One Ramen. Bringing you true authentic Ramen to the city of Toronto. Our happiness is your happiness & we always want to make you smile.

We offer a variety of bowls that are very unique in flavours, textures and taste. We want you to have our "Isshin" experience and leave satisfied & always smiling!

Our signature Ramen is our Wok Fried Red Miso Ramen. Every bowl starts in the wok. A generous handful of veggies mixed with our signature blend of red & white miso, sake and other seasonings are fired up. Tonkotsu broth is added and brought to a piping hot temperature, this is then poured over a fresh bed of noodles. This process melds all the flavours perfectly together to give it that unique Isshin taste.

Offering exotic Ramen's like Tsukemen aka Dipping Ramen, our famous Black Sesame Tan Tan Noodle and our White Sesame Shio Ramen is what also set's us apart from the other shops in town.

We also pride ourselves also on our large selection of Vegetarian Ramens as well as our awesomeappetizer list.

Review Summary

Ramen Isshin is described as a clean, modern, welcoming spot with ample parking and attentive service. The broths are praised for richness and depth, with the red dragon and spicy miso among the standouts and solid shoyu and kotteri options noted. Noodles are described as hearty and handmade, and portions are generous, with a variety of toppings and sides such as gyoza, takoyaki, and karaage. The staff are repeatedly noted as friendly and helpful, providing clear menu explanations and recommendations for both families and date nights. The menu offers flexibility to request less salty broth and includes vegetarian options. While a few comments mention saltiness or value considerations, the overall sentiment is that Ramen Isshin delivers high quality ramen and a consistently positive experience. Many reviews call it a standout ramen spot in the West Island or Montreal and a new favorite.

We now have a Ramen Isshin in west island. Yay.
Everything on the menu is fabulous.
They also ask you & offer less salty Ramen. Go for it. It brought us back our culinary memories in Japan.
Great friendly service. Explosion of flavors at every bite & spoonful booths.

As a person that doesn't really enjoy Ramen, i found myself wanting more after a whole bowl here. Their ramen is great, made a non ramen lover enjoy ramen.

With some great help from our waitress with the red hair, we were able to order to our taste. She let us know that Ishin Ramen's broth style is traditionally meant to be salty & that if we ever preferred it to be less salty, we could always ask her, luckily we love salt so this step wasnt needed.

All in all a great & very enjoyable experience.

Came here with my partner a few weeks back. We ordered from the vegetarian options, the shoyu. Overall the taste was alright, nothing crazy, the broth was too salty, & it was overpriced. It must be amongst the most expensive ramen shops in Montreal, but I guess people in the west island don't have much of a choice. The waitress with red hair was very pushy & pressured us to leave a Google positive review, which discredits all the 5 star reviews on this page.

Finally tried Isshin Ramen after waiting for them to open, & it was worth it! The place is modern, cozy, & spacious.

Service was impeccable. I finally get to meet the infamous Estelle. She greeted us, explained the ramen options, & gave spot-on recommendations. She really knows her stuff.

Food was one of the closest I've had to ramen in Japan. I'd rate it 4.5/5 but rounded up to 5 because it truly deserves the support. We had the Red Miso Ramen (a little on the sweet side), Tsukemen with its perfect savory broth, plus takoyaki & a small chashu bowl. I also love that they offer a less salty option for those watching their intake.

So happy to finally have a great ramen spot in the West Island. I'll definitely be back!
