Ramen is good specially the Kotteri Rich Shoyu Ramen & the Kotteri roasted garlic. Bouncy noodles with rich pork-based soup. Loved the Age Tofu & seafood okonomiyaki. I gave only 4 stars as it is a little bit higher in terms of price compared to other ramen places in Montreal.
Seats are limited & paid street parking only.
I have been a regular at this location of Ramen Isshin on Wellington street for about a year now & all I could tell you is that they are the best ramen place I have tried in Montreal. Their ramen is always flavorful & fresh. As an Asian who grew up in Asia, I could tell that everything is homemade with my first bite of the noodles & sip of the soup. They are also always launching a new article to make the experience more interesting to their customers. My latest best is their MATCHA KAKIGORI (A SHAVED ICE OR A BINGSU). OH MY GOD, it's really refreshing & addictive. It's a must try, especially during the hot days of summer. You won't regret it. The server Betul went above & beyond to accommodate my order by making a new kakigori base on the spot when they ran out of it that day. All that being said, you won't regret going there because they got the best food & service in town!! 🥰🥰🥰
Amazing spicy ramen bowl & mango dessert. The ramen bowls are filling enough so in my opinion ordering an appetizer was more than we needed. In this case we were two people & we both agreed the soups would suffice. Excellent job & great service too.
Very cute very busy small ramen place in Verdun. Most nights you will have to queue to be able to get a table. The food is really good. Very rich broth full with flavor but can be more generous when it comes to the protein portion. 2 pieces of sliced porc was not enough for my big appetite. I ordered the red dragon miso ramen & the garlic sesame veggie ramen. The chicken karaage was also really good but took a long time to come which made our soups take more time as well.
Fantastic selection of vegetarian ramen! A very convincing vegetarian substitute for tonkotsu soup, the spicy miso ramen was delicious. I wish other ramen places get inspired & create more variety of vegetarian & vegan ramen!
