The burger was delicious & we added the mac & cheese which was to die for. All in all a very memorable meal.
We're visiting Montreal from New York. So glad we found this place. Hands down the best burger I can remember having. My kids had amazing Mac & Cheese & my wife who is vegetarian had an incredible veggie burger. Everything is made with a lot of thought & attention. Couldn't give this place a more enthusiastic thumbs up
Me & 3 of my dudes on a wednesday drove from laval showed up at 10:30pm. We ordered the wagyu & steak burgers, the poutines & mac & cheese.
Let me say this…wow. Just wow. Exquisitely delicious. You know its delicious when eyes roll back at every bite.
Bonus : Interacting with the owner who is passionate even after being open for decades.
The hostess was really nice & accommodating. However, I couldn't be served in French by the guy at the counter, which was unfortunate. The food was good, but it didn't say on the menu that the mac & cheese is spicy, which I wish would've been disclosed to me, & that the classic poutine's sauce taste more like bbq sauce than gravy.
Excellent burgers! Totally worth the price. The kids loved their Mac & Cheese too!
I dined here with my family during our trip to Montreal & it was great! The veggie burger was delicious & my husband couldn't stop raving about the lamb burger, saying it was the best he's ever had! The kids loved the creamy mac & cheese. The staff was incredibly friendly & made our experience even more enjoyable. Fantastic food & a very welcoming atmosphere!
We travelled to Montreal for a conference & after enjoying multiple amazing culinary experiences at some beautiful restaurants we decided to try somewhere a little simpler as it was a lunch meal & not supper. The Mac & cheese with mushroom & onion & the burger we ordered were great. Portion size was adequate. Atmosphere & music perfect as we sat on the patio. We both ordered a Caesar ($16 each) & we didn't get them until we were over half way finished our meals. Tables are small which was fine except that our plates were never cleared. We had to ask for our bill after about 20 minutes of waiting with nothing in front of us but dirty dishes. Service was very very slow but food was fast & yummy. They do not provide you with a bill prior to bringing debit machine so you can only verify accuracy of charges after your debit/credit card has been charged. ( yes we asked prior) However our bill did not have any discrepancies. So it ended up being ok. We still tipped ensured to tip 15%( that tip would normally have been a lot higher) but it definitely wasn't earned by our server & please know we aren't those people that expect to be doted on at all. Unfortunately very disappointed by the service which leaves me unsure if we would try dine in service again. We would however order take-out. Koodos to the Chefs in the kitchen :)
Much more than a gourmet burger shop. Here, in addition to various creative & delicious burgers, you can also have lobster roll, the best mac & cheese ever, steak or chicken.
