Really cool place for evening drinks & a bite to eat with good music. On the night we did have a significant wait on the food which we were not informed about but it was fine. The potted chicken, fish pie were good but the fries which accompanied the house burger were burnt which was a shame as they were nicely seasoned. Price wise probably a bit pricey for what is obviously pub food but the venue dictates that to some extent.View more

Just what old Mtl needed. What a team they put together. Wine, cocktails & food done right. It's so beautiful inside & everyone is so friendly. Reminds me of my other favorite pub lord William. Great job guys I'll keep coming back for sure!View more

Un pub très sympa situé juste derrière la basilique. Le personnel est adorable & de bon conseil. Le pub est un peu bruyant mais pas plus que la normale dans ce genre d'établissement. Juste une étoile de moins pour les tarifs car même si la bière était bonne, durant l'happy hour nous les avons trouvées quand même prohibitifs.View more

Fantastic spot for high level pub grub, with traditional flair. The Full English is a great start to my day, & their array of meat pies & hearty ales, is a perfect end to mine. What a wonderful gastropub! I had the chicken tikka masala (I cleaned my plate so well, the waiter joked I must have hated it. 😂 It was so, so flavorful, with a hint of heat), a pint of bitter, & sticky toffee pudding. I can only hope a paneer version of the tikka is also offered (I was here on a work trip; my partner is vegetarian & I know she would love the tikka if it were paneer/potato). Staff was attentive without being overbearing, very friendly, & well informed about the menu. Will come back every time in future.View more

I had a great time at Wolf & Workman. I got a delicious & filling chicken pot pie. Lucy & Samantha were both incredibly kind & helpful. They even found the 2024 Canadian women's Olympic gold medal volleyball final match that I really wanted to watch.View more
