I didn't eat, but what my friends had looked all in all delicious & plentiful, especially the Indian chicken. The burger looked average & the fries burned. Friendly service & nice outdoor seating in a court decorated with little light chains.
It's a great spot in the Old-Port. I really liked the atmosphere in their backdoor terrasse & their prices are good for the Old-Port . I had the opportunity to go for the Happy Hour which you can grab a drink at a good price. The W&W Burger was juicy & tender served with crunchy tasty fries. The caramelized onions bring an interesting taste to the burger. The fisherman's pie is also great, tasty & probably one of the best I ever tried. You really feel the taste of the mussels & clams & everything is well balanced. Both plates were well presented & good. As regards the decoration it really feels like a typical pub that you can find in the UK. An excellent pub in the old port where I enjoyed my experience & where I'll probably go back.
Popped in for a snack & a beer during the 5 à 7. Had a local beer which was quite good & shared the salmon tartare which was also quite good. Service was pretty good until we were trying to get the bill when it seemed tough to get our server to come over. Minor inconvenience so it didn't negatively impact our time there.

Loved the atmosphere, we sat outside & they really made it look so nice. Food was good, not the biggest fan of bacon but was well matched with the pancakes. Our waiter was very helpful & passed by when needed to provide what we wanted. Overall really enjoyed my experience. Would go back!
Food is good, but nothing crazy. For some reason our waiter "changed" 3 times , they(the waiters) were all quite nice , but its a bit confusing. All dishes are beautifully plated, but some would benefit from(better) sides, for example the fish is said to come with a puree, but the puree is such that it blends with the sauce. When I read puree I expect a minimum of consistency. Also despite it not being indicated I could taste something akin to dill, or anise in the fish's sauce. The burger's fries are quite great, The caprese too. I was disappointed in the pasta, they were overly salty, I never did that ever, but I requested them to redo it, & from my understanding it was impossible to do, since the pasta's sauce is done in "batch/great quantity" (not that it isnt fresh), I ended up changing my dish to chicken, but I genuinely did not want to eat an indian dish that day. Also we came at around 5 , & were a group of 3 but, it took a while for our dish to come , some people came after us, & had the time to receive their drinks & dishes before us. Overall everyone was quite nice, but I cannot say it was my best experience. Small tidbit, our first waiter spoke english & french, but seemed to struggle a bit(with french), but I applaud their choice to come back to make sure of our order instead of taking it wrong. Strongest point of this place, is the ambiance, the decor, & the art, & sort of terrace behind, which is isolated from the busy streets.
Great spot for lunch! Fast, friendly service, prices ok (for Old Montreal, anyway). I ordered the chicken pot pie, & it was very good. The sauce was maybe missing a kick (more white wine, maybe?), but the portion was generous & filled with juicy, tender chicken & the pastry was phenomenal. Some kind of side (steamed veg, green salad) would have been welcome for the price. Nonetheless, highly recommended!
