Dans l'ensemble, Pub Wolf & Workman est perçu comme un pub animé et chaleureux du Vieux-Montreal, proposant une excellente cuisine et des boissons. Le menu tourne autour de plats réconfortants copieux comme la tourte au bœuf Stroganoff et la tourte au poulet, ainsi que la tourte du pêcheur, des œufs scotch, des plats de mezze et une carte de bières bien fournie, avec des cocktails bien conçus et une sélection de whiskies variée. L'ambiance est animée et accueillante, avec une cour intérieure charmante et une terrasse particulièrement prisée par beau temps; les week-ends peuvent être bruyants et le stationnement peut être difficile; les réservations sont souvent recommandées. Le service est décrit comme amical et attentif lorsque la foule le permet, et les portions sont généreuses avec de nombreuses critiques louant les tourtes et le brunch, ce qui en fait un endroit prisé pour boire un verre, manger et passer un moment décontracté dans le quartier.
We had reservation at 7pm on a Tuesday, but came a 10 minutes early.
Upon arrival, we were greeted right away. Our hostess gave us a quick tour, & proceeded to take us to our table. The ambiance is nice. The music wasn't playing too loudly, so my guest & I were still able to talk to each other without screaming at each other.
Our waitress came quickly to ask if we wanted to order drinks, & event made a recommendation for the mocktail. It didn't take long to receive our drinks, & to give our food order. As we sipped our drinks, & enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, our entrées arrived: BRAISED PORC CROQUETTES was delicious. 3 pieces of nicely fried croquette was good on its own & didn't need the extra sauce; BURRATA & ROASTED SQUASH served with their own homemade focaccia was beautiful. It says roasted squash in the title, but in the description it was pickled, we definitely got pickled not roasted. If I let my foodie self talk, I would probably have the castel franco, chicory & endives slices more thinly to have a more delicate experience with the burrata cheese. We took a bit of time to eat our entrées because the mains came & we hadn't finished, but the staff was kind enough to grab our plates out of the way for the mains.
SLOW COOKED OX TAIL GNOCCHI had good flavors. The gnocchi were soft as they should be, there were some pieces of ox tail, & the tomato sauce was on point, not too acidic; LAMB ROGAN JOSH PIE was the big winner. The pie was quite hefty, the crust was flaky & well baked. The filling was ALL lamb, so definitely have your protein intake. It was accompanied by a goat cheese beet salad (salad of the day) & it was a perfect balance. We took the leftovers home!
The restrooms were clean, so always a plus!
All in all, the experience at this establishment is a 5 star for me. Friendly staff, clean place, great décor, lots of personality & flavorful foods. I highly recommend.

The best!! We went for cocktails Thursday night & had so much fun that we came back for brunch & service both times was SO fantastic. Delicious food, highly recommend!
Very warm emplacement!
Staff are very cool! I stayed over 5 hours & felt no pressure.
If anything, the menu is underpriced for their location & the top quality of the food.
I will become a regular there. Highly recommend

Outstanding food, excellent customer service & a warm & cozy atmosphere. The staff are extremely attentive & diligent when it comes to COVID precautions & go an extra mile to ensure client safety.
Cant recommend highly enough if you are in the Old Port :).
Fantastic all around experience as I've come to expect from the team at Wolf & Workman. Not only is the service & food exceptional, but they are clearly taking the social distancing & COVID mitigation protocols very seriously. Brought my parents down for the first time & the food was so good, my mom even took a picture of the fries & asked to take home some sauce from her meal (she had the rainbow trout, highly recommends it). It's that good.
A really nice place in the Old Montreal. The food is awesome, the beer & drink selection is perfect. The staff is welcoming & the place is suprer clean! You feel the Old Montreal by entering the place. They have an amazing courtyard with seated places! I highly recommend the Wolf & Workman!
